I think this is worth posting now -- to remind people, where the origin of Kerry's anti-war activism really came from.

Kerry -- a real Manchurian Candidate.

"As a spy chief and a general in the former Soviet satellite of Romania, I produced the very same vitriol Kerry repeated to the U.S. Congress almost word for word and planted it in leftist movements throughout Europe."...rto

"." Indeed, anti-Americanism in Europe today is almost as ferocious as it was during Vietnam. France and Germany insist we are torturing the al Qaeda prisoners held at Guantanamo Base. The Mirror, a British newspaper, is confident that President Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair were "killing innocents in Afghanistan." The Paris daily Le Monde put Jean Baudrillard on its front page asserting that "the Judeo-Christian West, led by America, not only provoked the [September 11] terrorist attacks, it actually desired them."

You can add American media to this list also, imho.

Yes, post it and more and more. Thanks.

Don't think for a second that many Americans did not know about the communist influence. We had no Internet and not much talk radio -- not because listeners were not interested but because liberals were filling complaints under the FCC "Fairness Doctrine" threatening the station owners' licenses.

The "reporting" sucked though Time and U.S. News & World Report did a fair job and there were still conservative newspapers in many major cities. There were various limited circulation publications that were available.

IMO it is critical to our survival today that we continue to explore and expose what happened here during the Vietnam war. The same is happening today and as Mr. Pacepa noted the lies from the Vietnam era tarnish us to this day and today's traitors need only build upon them.

I hope to live long enough to see some of the treason of that era and this be punished by hangings. After fair trials of course.

Yes, and I'd be willing to guess that much of the anti-war protests today, are funded by much of the same money trail network that financed the 60s and 70s version.

There has got to be more on Ketchupman than what's revealed all ready. Ketchupman was in 'Nam where drugs were plentiful and in with the flower power pot protestors. I can hardly believe that he didn't partake. Plus, he was quite a ladies man. With the exception of Alexandra Polier, the man has "settled" down. Find it extremely unbelievable that he didn't partake more often with the availability of ladies. And who knows he could be on someone big's payroll. Who da heck bankrolled this jerk besides his wife?

But author is noticed that was very frivolous with facts in his previous articles. He just second to former colonel Lunev.

I understand that KGB operatives abroad was numerous an omni-potent and shrewd. (Vlad Putin was one of them and see how good president of Russia came out of him:)).

But to say that KGB ruled all anti-war movement if 70th IMHO is very exxageration.
IF KGB was so all mighty why it cann't convert West into soviet beleiving completely?

I red some accounts and opinions of some people today that all decidents of Soviet Union at same time was on payroll of CIA. They say more that himan right organizations is CIA affiliations.

It is resembling thing like Pacepa tells. But I don't beleive in it either.

Brilliant find. Knowing as we do that the current anti war groups are mostly funded and attended by known communists this has even more credibility. They are still in the propaganda business to destroy this country from within. John Kerry along with the Clintons et al are nothing more than their mouthpieces. God help us!

Many people underestimate the brilliance and success of the anti-American propaganda created by KGB functionaries during the Cold War. To a very great degree they are responsible for much of the virulence that has taken seed on campus and in the newsrooms - those people were shrewd, articulate, and perhaps the very best in the world at what they did.

Next time you hear some pup regurgitating the stuff that passed for received wisdom during the Vietnam war (and Kerry certainly did) remember how pervasive and long-lasting a successful propaganda campaign can be. We'll still be fighting it long after the Soviet Union fades into distant memory.
