Bush just did NOT learn from history; You cannot keep Clinton hold overs around and expect them to have loyalty to the COUNTRY...they are loyal to the DEMOCRATIC party ONLY...Bush should have cleaned house (particularly at the State Department).

I agree with you. Unfortunately, one can't go in and fire a 'guvmint' employee, thanks to their union. Unless they are an appointee, once hired, they pretty much have a job for life.

My 1st cousin had worked for the phone company in the White House since Nixon. He was let go too.

OTOH, perhaps this jackass's presence in the administration isn't fatal to the President, but only to the 'rat Party...Bush is seen by the electorate as a fair, fine leader during wartime. The 'rats (including those he allowed to remain) are falling on their swords trying to wipe him out, but are not being received very well.
At least it is a thought....
