If Kerry had had his way in the 1980's, we'd be in a sorry, sorry state right now militarily, with weapon systems of Vietnam-era vintage.
Central America would be Red, most likely under Cuban hegemony and Soviet protection. Russia would still be under the Soviet yoke, with the Iron Curtain still dividing Europe.

Very much so. Kerry is the last gasp of 1970's Limosene Liberalism. People need to be reminded of what those people stood for back in the 1970's when they were ascendant and owned the US Congress.
