If that prospective appointee can prove Clinton said all that about the VVAW, great. If he can't, there's not much point pursuing it. However, if former members of VVAW are willing to use FOIA to obtain copies of their FBI files and if the FBI does not redact them beyond recognition, a lot of information about Kerry's words and deeds can probably be reconstructed and publicized. This, of course, is assuming that Hudley and others in the Kerry campaign have not yet gotten to them. But in view of the current Musgrave embarassment, that seems unlikely.
