Hey - had a thought -
Though I have high hopes for the new blood of Tragos and MB (if there is communication occuring), I am frightened for Terri's current situation. The one thing MB (and others) have not recognized is the power and influence internet communication has had in Terri's case (along with tireless volunteer effort). Jeb Bush and the FL legislature did not just wake up one day and decided to do the right thing. They responded to overwhelming communication from consituencies at home and beyond. They took a political risk because the input was enormous.

What if we did something similar to demand that Terri's rehabilitation and visitation therapies be reinstated as is entirely her right as provided by Florida law for all disabled individuals (regardless of the degree of disability). ?

Terri gets all of your recommendations if her brother or sister are made her guardian. As long as Michael S. is her guardian, TERRI GETS NOTHING and all her liberties are denied.

Terri must be made a ward of the state or of her siblings. SHE'S IN DANGER AS LONG AS MICHAEL CONTROLS EVERYTHING ABOUT HER, IN AND AROUND HER. She's a prisoner -treated worse than POW's or terrorists we are holding.

I agree - what I'm saying is that maybe we could again activate on the same scale with one message. Perhaps the message could be "rescue Terri". A message easily echoed hither and yon to let the governor and legislators and judges and AG know she still has enormous public support.

I LIKE IT. "RESCUE TERRI". THAT WOULD MAKE A GREAT SIGN. Additionally, that would make a nice heading for a flyer. I think we need a FLYER CAMPAIGN all over the country. There are flyers available at www.terrisfight.org.

The Judge Greer vote no flyer will only work in Pinellas-Pasco County.

A RALLY OUTSIDE OF PINELLAS COUNTY. The following is a press release for same. People are rising up in other areas of Florida. They've had enough.

Thought this might be of interest.... This has been sent to media in that area....

Immediate Release: April 6, 2004

Bradford County Citizens Hold Rally along SR 301 in Starke to Denounce Michael Schiavo's on going attempt to have his disabled wife's (Terri Schiavo's) feeding tube pulled.

On April 24, 2004, beginning at 8 o'clock a.m., and lasting until 5 o'clock p.m., local residents will hold protest in front of the Bradford County Courthouse located at SR 301 in Starke, Florida.

Large picket signs will include: “Terri is an American, Too” – “We Love Terri” “America Give Terri a Helping Hand ” - “Terri is a Human-being” - “Florida Doesn't kill her disabled.”

Why? Terri Schiavo has no living will. In other words, Michael Schiavo (Who has been living with a woman for about 8 yrs, and has two children with that woman), visa Attorney George Felos , is using the Florida Judicial System to redefine the word "dead" to include his brain injured wife.(There are presently 25,000 human beings, living throughout our country, who are in the same shape as Terri Schiavo.)

On April 24, 2004, Starke citizens will call on Governor Jeb Bush, and every member of the Florida Congress to do two things:

1. Take Terri Schiavo and place her under State care....... 2. Strike down Jim King's pro-death law, he calls his legacy, and replace it with a law that protects the right-to-life of the disabled, when there is no living will.

“For Any state in the Union to promote death over life in the name of ‘Dying with dignity’ is a perversion beyond belief. Think of the disabled human beings who will be ‘haunted’ by the ghost of Terri Schiavo's death, if the pro-death people succeed in having her legally killed by starvation. We support Terri Schiavo's right to life ... please don't kill the disabled..”

cyn, While waiting for Schiavo v. Bush to work it's way through litigation, TERRI IS SUFFERING and TOTALLY ISOLATED. I can't believe nobody's checking this thread. Do you have a ping list yet? I need to go to the rally today but I won't have time to do any kind of report.

This is how I currently feel on Terri's Fight. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. If you feel the same way, please set up your own phone bank next week and complain about Terri's isolation and that her family cannot see her at all. In addition, nobody knows her medical condition and add to it that nobody can visually inspect Terri because THEY'VE BEEN CUT OFF FROM VISITATION.

Terri is completely alone this Easter except for a rent-a-cop, Hospice attendants and Michula; the very people who want to harm her. FV

The delays-EACH DELAY-means more suffering for Terri. I am begining to boil. I am angry. This is so WRONG!!!! Are they really not allowing the parents ANY VISITATION at ALL????????????????????

NO VISITATION. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday but what does that matter to people who have no souls? All we can do is convince our friends and relatives to help us call Washington, D.C. to complain and to contact our Florida House, Senate and Jeb Bush. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

I think the HOAX with the non-existent needle marks would probably qualify as a violation of the RICO ACT (racketeering). They are engaging in racketeering. TERRI IS UP AGAINST A POWERFUL MOB consisting of the death lobby, our state legislators who think that Terri's Law has saved Terri, a deranged husband and psycho-babbling attorney, oh and CORRUPT JUDICIAL SYSTEM with no checks and balances by Law Enforcement.

This takes a lot of voices. The locals cannot do this alone and imagine that when nobody can see Terri, nobody can visually inspect her to see if she's being cared for. And, they can't get medical information either. HOW DOES JUDGE GREER GET AWAY WITH THIS UNBELIEVABLE, ILLEGAL DERELICTION OF DUTY ON HIS PART?

It is freaking unbelievable. Terri Held Hostage the saga continues.

Now her family is silenced because of intimidation and the real possibility of contempt charges that could be levied against them for using their speech rights. The family is breathing but nothing else. ONLY MICHAEL HAS ANY RIGHTS and he wants to kill her one way or the other. It didn't end with Terri's Law but how can we get everyone to understand that this isn't over??? THIS IS THE TWILIGHT ZONE and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
