I sure as hell do.
This guy is trying to curry favor with the "out" party.
So he can become one of the "in" guys. Clarke, as an Assistant SOS, might have been concerned about his tenure under the incoming Bubba Team.

I see a Terminator Rove Borg killing machine is what I see!!!!
To all those that doubted the efficacy of the Pubbie campaign, or that sensed a lack of "attackitude" during the primary, I think General Sherman is heading toward Atlanta!!!
Maybe all this time Rove etal were just letting the enemy probe a little? Or maybe this backbone will wilt over the next months....but this kind of quick-tough response just doesn't at all remind me of the Trent Lotts of this world!
