Barbarianism in Prizren - urinating on demolished Orthodox church

An Ethnic Albanian youth uses his mobile telephone to take a picture of his friend taking a leak in the St. George church in the southern Kosovo town of Prizren, Monday, March 22, 2004. The church was set on fire and heavily damaged during an outbreak of Albanian violence in Kosovo.

Albanians know, as Croats and Bosnian Muslims (example Naser Oric showing films of headless Serb men he and his men killed in Srebrenica before February 1994) before them, that they can flaunt their abuses of Serbs and it either won't get reported or won't make a difference.

Well, based upon what has happened in Kosovo in the past 5 years or so one would have to assume the Serbs are not one of those "politically correct" ethnic groups in the eyes of the enlightened.

I jumped up and down when Klinton began the bombing in 99 and with each passing day it becomes more apparent how wrong that little diversion was.

To say that I was upset would be putting it mildly. For the life of me I still can't fathom the ultimate rationale for US involvement, unless it was to divert attention from Klinton's problems.

Actually..now that I look at the picture the thing that disturbs me the most...(I'm gonna put this in bold cause this is my rant of the day)

Is why is that kid using a cell phone with a camera in it that costs nearly $100? Aren't these the same people who complain that they don't have enough to eat yet they are spending that kind of money on a trite POS like that!? It reminds me too much of alot of our lower class over here who complain for social programs and welfare/food stamps but are wearing $100 pairs of shoes and buying chrome rims for their caddy....not one more tax dollar should be wasted on either group...!

You win the "what's wrong with this picture?" award of the day. (I mean, other than what's obviously wrong with the picture.)

Back in December of 1999, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ran a double-truck sob story about this ethnic Albanian refugee family from Kosovo who had been evicted from their home by Serb paramilitaries. They said how "repressed" the ethnic Albanians were in Kosovo. They also said they had owned a Mercedes-Benz repair business in Kosovo, and that they had DM120,000 in cash hidden under their bathroom floor. When these Serb paramilitaries arrived, they pulled up the floor gave them the DM120,000. Now the poor family is living on welfare in Atlanta. Boohoo. But their oldest son was planning to return to their house in Kosovo in the spring. Hmm, what's wrong with that picture?

What do you think, why nobody of our "conservative-media-heroes" like Hannity, O'Reilly or Limbaugh never mentioning the Kosovo and what's really going on there...???

Wouldn't the "Kosovo-issue" be the perfect tool for the conservatives to confront the liberals with their politic failure especially in the Balkans...??? I'm sure, that there's enought material out there to prove it...

....by the way....I would love to thank you and all "Freepers" here, who acknowledge what's really happening in the Balkans...and fight for the justice and truth for the Serbian people...

I don't know about Hannity and Limbaugh, but O'Reilly has made statements about his full support of the '99 bombing of Serbia and the "action" on behalf of the UCK/KLA. Don't expect any help from his quarter.
