Oh Please, the "intellectual capacity" shown on DU says it all in regards to liberal smarts.

(It's not our job to forgive them. Only God can do that. Our job is to arrange the meeting--N.S)
Just more proof that Liberals are arrogant hypocrites, and all their talk of "tolerance and diversity" is Orwellian Newspeak designed to shut down all opposing opinions.

"But consider for a moment how successful the free market has proven in generating wealth, technological progress and high standards of living in the Western world over the past 500 years, and how miserably the competing doctrine of socialism worked out in Eastern Europe in the 20th century. Given that reality, the burden is surely on those who still cling to the failed doctrine of mandatory redistribution to prove they're not either intellectually impaired or excessively buffered from the realities of a world where the "needs" of the mendicant class can never be met, no matter how much income of the productive class is seized and thrown into the statist wood-chipper."I just love this. Brilliant.

"When asked why so few Republicans seem to inhabit the academic environment, Ted Jelen, a UNLV professor of political science, told CityLife: "Liberals are smarter."And communists are smarter still, eh Professor?

My guess is that liberals love faculty politics. It's as close to the petty viciousness of pogroms and purges as they can get without having to have real guts.LOL! You nailed it.

Any Southern Nevadans here?
Wouldn't it be neat to be able to get together sometime?

More reasons you don't see Republicans on campus is a) you can get better pay in the real world and b) if you let your political affialiation be known, you will be labled as "antagonstic" and they will invent a reason to fire you before you reach tenure. When I was in graduate school working towards my doctorate, I got an 'offer I could not refuse' and left ASAP.

When I was 18 my best friend used to laugh and call me a socialist. She was a Republican who loved Nixon.
Now I laugh because even I know Nixon is a RINO.

Liberals are smarter This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes.
The Democrats have all the stupid people, and for most towns, that's enough.
