Hearing over. Rummy & Co leave smiling and shaking hands. Never laid a glove on em. Nope. But the first caller to CSPAN clearly missed the point, and the media will cut and paste to further DEM/Socialist agenda.

Me too, that's why I asked. I've got stuff tomorrow morning that I rearranged my entire week around. I'll only be able to see the late afternoon coverage. That's why I want to know when Clarke testifies!
To: cyncooper
LOL. Wolfowitz had been sitting there looking thoroughly bored.

Rumsfeld + Myers + Wolfowitz are the professional, dedicated problem solvers and the Clintonistas that came before were the source of all the problems. Can't be repeated too many times.
The Clinton so-called foreign policy was treasonous, inept, craven, cowardly, and idiotic.
The Clinton legacy will keep bearing evil fruit for decades, even with the adults back in charge mitigating the damage.
To: arasina
Glad I missed it. I've never forgotten Hillary's gawdawful blue heat.

Every member of the Bush Foreign policy team is a Statesman. A legendary cabinet, to say the least

You're right. Something is wrong here. The book comes out and all of a sudden it is THEE manual to examine. Which leads me to believe that Clinton is covering up even MORE than we know.
Because this came in the form or a book AND it is SOOOOOO one-sided, I smell Hillary...trying to take the issue OFF the table for her "Supposed" run in 2008.
Please notice also that Bubba has not come up with his book yet....many missed deadlines. Whiff of Hillary under this bookcover.

Thanks for the ping...though I refuse to watch. I rest fully in the competence of the members of the current administration to prove out the total incompetence of the last one. The president has surrounded himself with professionals, as opposed to the boobs and pinheads that were in the last administration.
I can only feel very sad for the pathetic people who actually think that there was some way for the President to know what AQ was going to do on the morning of 9/11/01. To place such motives/ill-will on a good man like George W. Bush is beyond sick....not to mention the illogic of such thinking.

Rummy is doing great... as a matter of fact, the more pointed and partisan the questions, the more Don makes them look like fools.Rummy has an absolutely brilliant intellect. The media always tells us how smart various Dems are, but Don Rumsfeld can run rings around any of them without breaking a sweat. It would not surprise me if he has an IQ in the genius range. I wish he was young enough to run for president in '08, sigh.

To: Cboldt
and that is exactly the problem. We all should know by now that with the possible exception of Fox News all the exchanges (which sounds like the majority) that benefit Bush will never make it on the air while all the Bush-Bashing segments will be the lead story. I have said for six months now that if Bush loses it will be the media picking a president.

"A legendary cabinet, to say the least."
Their place in history is assured, and not because they were angling for a legacy, but because they are dedicated Americans.

Bingo!
Am playing catch up - had to stop reading and watch Rummy. I loved when Wolfewitz was asked about the Clark book. He said he didn't have it, but the reporters did and they phoned him. He also said, in the book, the dates Clark says the attempt on Bush the Elder happened are months off. Also, went on to add a few other factual errors.
To: Cboldt
What is so terrific about the Bush team's respones is how streamlined it is. They do not use alot of fluff in their explanations and they're well prepared.

If Dick Clarke has to much success, I wouldn't be surprised if the President changes his mind and allows Condy Rice to answer questions before the commission. After all, Clarke worked under Dr.Rice and she better then anyone, would be able to refute his claims. At the very least, I think we'll see Dr.Rice make several more appearences on some of the higher rated talking head shows.I don't understand the love affair with Rice. I hope she doesn't appear at the commission. Every time I've seen her on TV she looks unprepared and ignorant of important details (like Bojinka). It may be her staff but, regardless, she's where the buck stops.

You just said something very important. I'm sure the Dems have been shredding for the last three and 1/2 yrs. I wish all the China stuff alone would come out. Probably fat chance at least in the way I want it presented. Truthfully!
