Kaba Kick is a Russian roulette for kids. The player points the gun at his or her own head and pulls the trigger. Instead of bullets, a pair of feet kick out from the barrel (which is shaped like a pink hippo). If the gun doesn't fire, the player earns points.

Clarke's claim that in early 2001 Condi Rice had never heard of al-Quaeda has been exposed as a lie, and his 1999 claim to the Washington Post (when Clarke was an official in the Clinton administration) that we "knew" al-Quaeda was working with Iraqi intelligence agents is also embarrassing. But his credibility will never be undermined if the mainstream press ignores these things.

Watch for a story about to break in the media this morning that will make Clarke look pretty foolish. Problem is, people like him and the people who listen to people like him don't respond to information that makes them look foolish.
They claim some "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" is trying to silence him with lies.
To: The G Man
Which one of the FR discussed items of yesterday do you think it will be? Quote on his vaunted Asprin Factory targeting where he outlines how the drug base goes from the factory to Iraq,
and then to Al Queada, demonstrating his lie regarding intell linking same?
OR
Will it be the radio Interview with Condi the year before the Clarke meeting where he KNOWS her expression betrayed she knew nothing about AL Queada. That's a NEAT interview, 'cause she explains how the Prospective Bush administration, IF ELECTED, will have Al Queada as number one on their terror list.

That was what I was thinking too. You read my mind. But I am not holding my breath right now. Yesterday they reported that Rummy was going to say something important about Bin Laden and it never materialized. The media seems to be looking for explosive stories right now where there is none.

Ah, gruesome! Just a shade or two removed from the deadly toys they still let us play with when we were kids, beofre the safety police rounded the corners on everything, physically and every other way.

The only dem to break ranks and condemn the aspirin factory bombing was jimmy carter. He declared the rationale to be a fraud.

Breaking News:
Richard Clarke is one of a cabal of morons who was paid by Karl Rove to help the Bush campaign by making an @ss out of himself on national television with outlandish accusations that are easily shot down by the Bush campaign.
Rumor has it that there will be an even bigger bombshell next week, when it is revealed that John Kerry is another one of those morons on Rove's payroll.

Clarke is about as believable as Michael Moore. Which is to say that, unfortunately, plenty of people will buy and read his book after seeing it on 60 Minutes.
Some of my family saw "Bowling for Columbine" a couple of months ago, and I was unable to persuade them how many lies were involved in it, beginning with the prearrangement to license the gun a week before the incident was filmed, so it looked as if you could walk right into the bank and be given a gun.
It would have been much better to have scotched this snake before he had time to add his contribution to the spin machine. Which is to say that Bush made a serious mistake trying to be kind and bipartisan, leaving all these venemous clintonoid traitors in his administration who could write books, leave their jobs, and be announced on the media as critics of Bush from within his own administration.
In fact, the clintonoids still in place are undoubtedly doing far more damage than the ones who have quit and run to the media.

Whammo Air Guns. Cock the plunger, pull the trigger, and fire a burst of air 20'. Fun! Cool! And BANNED by the idiots in toy safety when some kid put it to his brother's ear and deafened him. One moron; all kids lose out.
It is the parents' (note the possessive form...implies two parents!) to monitor and protect their kids, and see to it that they don't do anything stupid. And it is the parents' duty to let kids occasionally suffer the consequences of doing a d@mn stupid thing to teach them that life will bite you if you act like a little moron.

Exactly, since when can a person be questioned under oath about something they have not read?
I wonder if the commission has an email or phone #.
To: The G Man
Earlier there was a post showing a copy of Clarke's letter of resignation to Bush, back in january 2003, which was highly complimentary on Bush's handling of the war on terrorism. Has anyone seen this post lately ... can't find it in search.

The media is doing anything to keep Kerrys voting record out of the news and anything 911 related has that reaction. This 911 commission and Clarke story will be short lived. I find it comical that people are shelling out money for this book instead of donating that money to Kerry. Also worth noting how the commission is using the book as fact. I find that rather alarming.

Yes I find that dispicable too that they are using Clarke's book as a bible when they had hundreds of documents given to them by the White House to use and instead they are using someone who actually got demoted as an expert witness.

To the nation at large, Clarke is a nobody, and his book would never have made a blip on the radar screen had it not been derogatory of Bush. I certainly hope the media gets a black eye over promoting this work.

Any commission that has a partisan hack like Richard Ben Veniste as a member has no credibility with me. I still remember his derisive "So what?" mantra during the Watergate hearings as he tried to underplay the seriousness of various unethical practices by Clintonistas.

True. Books critical of the Clinton administration's handling of terrorism never got any legs with the mainstream press, not even to attempt to refute them.
