My question is why would someone come out and make the comments that have been made this past week, knowing full well there is videotape contradicting those comments? I guess the answer is the hallmark answer to everything "Democratic" -- ARROGANCE.

Because this is someone still living in a pre-internet world, which is odd since his supposed specialty was cyber security. Another person who has not grasped the ability of the net to immediately refute lies that used to go unchallenged by the old media.
