I never knew any grunt that carried an M16 that way. Is there even a magazine in the well?

Clothes are too clean...not rotting off....skin isn't stained orange from the mud....maybe they did it differently in Riverine.

What? no P38?

I swear, Howlin, if Bush loses, I'm going to have to ask Jim to change my name to "Cayman Islands GOP Chick" for the next 4-8 years!

Steve Gardner, Kerry's 10th warrior who doesn't admire him, was on the John Hancock (WBT radio) last night and had some very interesting remarks about at least one of Kerry's purple hearts.

In a much more relaxed and lucid interview, Gardner related that Kerry went to the commanding officer (whom he named...something like Herrmet) and showed him his arm with an ABRASION..."not even a cut", according to Gardner. Kerry said he wanted a Purple Heart commendation for it. The officer said "NO way." Kerry, according to Gardner, went to two other officers w/the same request/demand. The first officer was leaving Vietnam and told the other officers if THEY wanted to give Kerry the Purple Heart, THEY could do it but he was NOT going to.

The French Kerry reminds me of Christopher Walken's "The Continental" character on Saturday Night Live.

If the polls start to tank, I'm going to immediately begin doubling up on the Pilates I do every week -- that place is perpetual bathing suit land!
