Today has quite the bit of news... it says alot about California. One Sheriff is firing his staff for corruption, another is letting criminals out of jail early to "save" money. Even with no money, new homeless facilities are being built with "public" money, and the state ponders how many millions to pay for Hearst coastal property. Our elected officials are letting us down... but we'll have no sense of comfort of knowing that they were duly elected given the electronic voting debacle. And those who brought us an untested e-voting system are busy campaigning in Washington and trying to raise $20 million dollars for the privilege of "representing" us in the Senate. To quote a wise wasp, WASS!
