That's why I think Richard Simmons will be forever popular. He was the only one who had 'real' women in his videos. You just don't see that which I can understand because who gets motivated by someone fat? But if the presenter isn't fat who cares? I think the wave of the future will be child personal training. 'fat camps' and all that are too much money for a lot of people.

I have a Simmons' story for ya...

In the early-mid 70's (presumably when he was just starting his "career") he was a patient of my dad's for some orthopedic problem. (My dad's an orthopedic surgeon). He walked into his office in a pink ballerina outfit, and while he was sitting in the waiting room yelled "I love that man!" when he saw my old man walk by, thoroughly embarrassing him in front of everyone present. Then, to make matters infinitely worse, Simmons ran up to him and jumped into his arms, insisting that my old man carry him into the examining room...lol. The secretaries were dying laughing, so I heard.
