I also grew up in Wichita and was a pre-teen during the height of BTK drama....I can still remember the sleepless nights wondering if every late-night noise was "him"....

Here's hoping that DNA evidence finally helps to bring this monster to justice...

You're thinking of "The Poet"... Ah-Ha! Now I remember. I guess that a lot of the things that took place in the adult world when I was young just kind of merged into a blur as I grew older. I forgot that they were tow separate crimes.

I too hope they catch this person before he progresses from writing new letters to killing new people. From the little that I do remember he taunted the police a lot like it was just one big game for him.

My daughter lives in Wichita and her husband travels out of town a lot. She said in the middle of the night last night she heard a loud noise that frightened her. The plastic housing around the exhaust fan in the bathroom had fallen from the ceiling.
