SACRAMENTO (AP) - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has quietly incorporated a private nonprofit group that can help advance his political goals without disclosing the source of its money.
Organizers insist the new corporation, which can raise money, lobby lawmakers and conduct polls, won't be used to hide special-interest donations to Schwarzenegger. But they acknowledged it could legally avoid disclosure under a variety of circumstances.

Wouldn't it have been fun if, through the magic of a time machine, these shenanigans could have been introduced into the recall debate.
Many on this forum knew this was coming, and worse, but it would have been fun, non the less, to poke the party loyalist's noses in it.
To those loyalists still lurking out there beneath the shelter of large rocks: WE TOLD YOU SO.
I'm glad I don't live in CA, and so avoided the whole debate.
My conscience probably wouldn't have let me vote for an anti-gun, pro-choice, somewhat pro-gay-union governor, anyway, but I used to like Arnold. Now, unfortunately, he seems to have been lured by the seduction of power in the People's Republic of California.
