And since when has it become a "right" to donate blood? I saw this reported on our evening newscast and have to admit to being dumbfounded. Guess I'm being discriminated against as well since half the time I'm just slightly too anemic to donate.

You know it is only a matter of time before the left demands that people with hepatitis and other diseases be granted the "right" to donate blood. After all, these diseases are a disability, and it is discrimination to not allow people with communicable diseases to donate blood. The leftists will say that people who are afraid of AIDS or other diseases are neurotic, and the minute America gets socialized medicine all diseases will be magically cured, anyways.
