Imagine a "Madrid attack" in the subways during the opening speeches of the convention. Or a rolling series of attacks.

And the NYPD and NYFD are fully engaged trying to deal with leftist instigated unrest.

Given the intense hatred the left has for anything good, I'll bet that rioting in the streets will prove to be an understatement. Mini civil war will be more like it.

You did what?!!
That's like suggesting using holy water to a vampire. And you are surprised at the result?

I have an understanding with our resident nut at work. I have no use for his suggestions as to what to read, nor do I have any interest on how he "feels" about Bush today.
And I am happy to do the same. Of course, I never once thought that suggesting how he should educate himself was my problem.

I have faith in the NYPD.

I worked in downtown Manhattan in the late sixties. Peace marches, longshore counter marches. Lower Broadway and Battery park were the staging areas for a most of the activity.

Then I changed jobs and moved up to 42nd st. between 2nd and 3rd. Even though it was the Daily News bldg. I worked for another co. Lot of protest marches involving the U.N. or the daily news.

A friend was a Sgt. on the Tactical patrol force. Whenever he routed a group past our bldg. he would duck in to use my exec washroom key. (Working in Manhattan , is knowing where the available restrooms are.)

They sometimes had as many as three different groups moving up and down various streets, never allowing them close to each other.Fun to watch.

I once asked him what they would do if a group really P*ss*d
them off. He jokingly asked if I had ever seen a whole group of people march off the end of a pier. I still laugh and wistfully sigh at the thought.

The left are very angry, but are they that stupid? I can't believe they will riot as it would so obviously boomerang against their man.
