I love the pic in #32. That's exactly the way little girls catch footballs.

".......which helps move the shoulder - earlier this year when he braced himself against an abrupt stop on a bus tour in Iowa...."
"....which helps move the shoulder" - the subscapularis along with the supraspinatus, infraspinatus and the teres minor are the "Guardians of the Shoulder Joint" and are commonly referred to as the "Rotator Cuff". Yes, all four muscles help move the shoulder joint but "act as 'dynamic ligaments' for the shoulder joint which otherwise is unstable and easily dislocated (from Primary Anatomy - Basmajian, 1970).
The bus must have been travelling at a high rate of speed because, IMHO, it would take a lot of force to tear this muscle by means other than "an abrupt stop on a bus tour"..... MORE FORCE, perhaps like in a SKIING accident, hmmmm?

It's almost as though the AP is reporting the Washington, D.C. joke about Kerry as if it was real news.
...You know, that Kerry injured his shoulder flip-flopping on a vote on the Senate floor again...

Prayers for his health. (We need him alive and well to lose miserably to Bush in November!)

The DNC must be about to drop another bombshell on Bush, and Kerry will be nowhere in sight.

I would say he needs brain surgery but I don't think leftism is a curable condition.Brain surgery on a liberal is considered exploratory surgery.
To: kennedy
If this is a surgical attempt to give Kerry some "spine", I predict it will fail.
To: kennedy
Or .. if the dems have found another backstabber trying to sell his book that they can throw in front of the media.
We better get ready!

This is BAD news. Bush is much better off with Kerry on the campaign trail. It IS bad news for Bush. Kerry went to Idaho 1 day before Clarke appeared on 60 Minutes, came back 1 day after Clarke's testimony, and right in the middle leaked a story to the media that he was "ordering serveral copies" of Clarke's upcoming book--to give it even more attention. Coincidence? I hardly think so. This was a conspiracy planned from top to bottom. Just as Viacom arranged (through its VH1 subsidiary) to have Hillary's boos replaced with cheers, so they arranged Clarke's book release (with their book subsidiary) and TV interview (with their CBS subsidiary) with the DNC and Kerry Campaign. It was all arranged.
One can only imagine what new manufactured devil they will release on us while Kerry is getting his shoulder surgery Botox treatments.

If I were Karl Rove, I'd be getting pictures of Bush jogging, smiling, playing sports with kids, and overall walking briskly and with a jump in his step.

the Massachusetts senator aggravated an old injury to a tendon from the sub-scapularis muscle -- which helps move the shoulder -- earlier this year when he braced himself against an abrupt stop on a bus tour in Iowa during the race for the Democratic nomination Yeah right. We all know it was a strain from defensive moves against flying vases.

Kerry will look more foolish for having gone on a skiing vacation before having shoulder surgery while Congress is still in session. Nope, it will not. Because he went on vacation to clear the stage for Richard Clarke. There was no other reason. It was all arranged. Someone tell the person who swiped the Kerry FBI files to also get Richard Clarke's phone records. I'd bet it includes more than one conference call with Viacom, John Kerry, Bob Kerrey and Terry McAuliffe.

Spokesman David Wade said the Massachusetts senator aggravated an old injury to a tendon from the sub-scapularis muscle -- which helps move the shoulder -- earlier this year when he braced himself against an abrupt stop on a bus tour in Iowa during the race for the Democratic nomination.
Why don't they just tell us the damn truth and say he injured it while skiing.
To: montag813
This is so funny as is the timing. He had an old injury which had either healed or wasn't bothering him. He goes skiing where he takes a few plops. All of a sudden, he's going for surgery for an old injury (which probably means there's a lawsuit pending) with MONEY.
Now, considering that the man has a "full time job", he goes skiing (actually into hiding while Clarke does his ditty), and reappears just in time to "Bash Bush" on 9-11.
Oops, then he sees that Clarke's "secure" tape is released and checked Clarke's testimony before Congress and lo and behold, into hiding again....
How many times can a QUACK duck??
