Please forgive the vanity, but I've done a search and cannot find any reference to this.
I saw Monsoor Ijaz on FNC an hour or so ago, and he said that he has been asked to testify before the 9/11 commission. He appeared to be anxious to do so.
If this has been posted elsewhere, I'll ask the mod to take this down.

He could have some very interesting things to say.
Wasn't he involved in the Sudan thing?

He is extremely angry at Clarke. Last Week on Fox and Friends I thought he was going to burst a blood vessel.

I haven't read this elsewhere and have been curious if Ijaz, among others who have been critical of the Clinton administration, have had their say. And I am also curious how it was decided who would testify in public. Clarke is but one voice in hundreds and by featuring him in public testimony all perspective is lost.

Monsoor may be the only credible source that can tie terrorism/al Queda to Iraq, I can't believe it hasn't already been done, some commissinon.

I think the 9-11 Commission hearings are a bipartisan thing.

Wasn't he involved in the Sudan thing? Yes, he's the guy. I also heard he was absolutely livid about Clarke's 60 minute interview.

The commission is a KANGAROO COURT and absolutely worthless and biased.
To: alnick
I saw this on FNC too. I'm so glad he's been ask to give testimony to the commission. I'm sure pressure was put on the commission to extend the invite.

ugh. reminds me of the eunuchs over at the DU.
[nothing personal, by any means. I've been looking
for an opportunity to bring this up]
never seen a bigger buncha spineless little weasels
in my life. they're utterly over-moderated, submit
to inconsistent and capricious rules regarding posts,
and ironically use their completely controlled forum
to call bush a fascist.
apparently "bush is a fascist" is one of the few topics
that have been approved by big brother. they're getting
banned in droves, and flocking over to people for change,
where the number on topic seems to be what a snithole DU
has become.

The commission could NOT credibly proceed if they blatantly ignored certain testimony in favor of what was most likely false testimony offered to them by Clarke.
Most excellent news that they are willing at this point to consider a wider range of evidence.

Let me be the first or perhaps the second to predict that he will not testify. Too many predictions gone South for old Monsoor. Not credible anymore as far as I can see. He always has good news. He is on the right side of things but his stuff just never pans out. Too bad.
To: alnick
I bet they won't televise his testimony!

I think the 9-11 Commission hearings are a bipartisan thing. In a way they are or could be but they have clearly been hijacked with an anti-Bush angle and they need to get on track of the purpose.
I will point out that allowing those families with an agenda to sit there and applaud certain testimony is most inappropriate. So was the waving around of Clarke's book as if it was Holy Writ. Then we had Bob Kerrey offer the liar Clarke a job!
Please, you cannot deceive us here.

That's a sad commentary, is there any way they, the lefties on the commission, can sabotage Monsoor, cause belive me he could hurt the rats.
To: InterceptPoint
Let me be the first or perhaps the second to predict that he will not testify. Time will tell, but Greg Jarrett asked him, "Are you going to testify," to which Ijaz responded, "I hope so." He still had that pi$$ed off tone to his voice that I heard when Monsoor first responded to Clarke's lies.

Whatever happened to the report that Phillipine intell found a plot in a Manila. The deal was to fly airplanes into buildings in the US. They turned it over to the US in 96 or 97, I think.
Is the commission hearing this. Did we take any action after that. How did these guys get into flight schools so easilly afterwards?
