"Education spending is up higher than ever before, seems we need a national audit of education spending, including all those costly provisions hidden in UNION contracts!"

It just beat the Hell out of me how any of us on FR learned how to do the 3 R's or type or anything without all this extra money that seems to be needed every stinking year.

I was in school from 1951 til 1972 or so; school was relatively inexpensive and the results were pretty damn good. I guess that was before the '60's activists got into the hierarachy of the educational institutions and began making things more "correct".

[Just mythoughts]

The system set up with that "war on poverty" that maintains poverty by depriving the mind with individual "freedom" and responsibility.

No longer individual thought but group think.
