Correct, John Thune is running against Daschle in the June runoff election,

What's this "runoff" crap? Thune and Daschle will oppose each other in November. No runoff.

The special election is to decide who will face off for the vacated seat in the House, once held by Janklow, who's serving time for vehicular manslaughter, in the General Election (November). How many times do I have to repeat that?

Don't recall his name, but he's serving time in jail for manslaughter. Hence the reason for the special runoff election. His seat was vacated because of that trial and conviction earlier this year.

I think that you should put the sauce away. The guy serving time is Jankelow - a member of the House of Representatives. Daschle is a Senator and Thune is running against him in November. They have nothing to do with any special election to select a successor to Jankelow.

I know they don't, I realized the error, and have such, made it known that I have made that error and attempted to correct the record as such.

Nothing new, Ijaz got his start in politics as a Dem. fundraiser. That is how he had access to the Clinton White house to offer Bin Laden. I did notice that he has not contributed since 2000. 9/11 meant a change for a lot of people, I suspect he is one of them. Also don't forget that Laurie Mynrolie (sp?) and Jim Woosle were appointed by Clinton but certainly have found differences with him in regards to terrorism. Funny how they never got the attention Dickie Clark has isn't it. I guess maybe that great journalist Stephanolous called all the sunday shows and told them not to cover the story like he did with Alrich.

"No they aren't, but John Thune is challenging Daschle for his seat."

Well yes, LOL! I have been sending contributions to Thune. But you surprised me in post 22 when you said the election was in June.

I'm not completely up to speed on Mansoor Ijaz, but hasn't he been one of Clarke's harshest critics?

The fact that he has been such a big Dem contributor, if anything, should work to the advantage of the Bush Administration.

Also note the time frame of his biggest contributions. His contributions to Mrs. Clinton totaled $2000 and ended in 1999. There was only one $1000 donation to the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee in 1999.

Could he have had a change of heart about the Clintons in 2000?

That is one neat website. Did anyone notice Rupert Murdoch gave money to Charles Schumer and John Kerry?

He contributed to Hillary, knowing by then, that Clinton was a flake. He had already turned down the offer for OBL.

Amazing, isn't it?
Such duplicity continues to stun me.
I need to become a lot more shock proof.

Thanks for the compliment. It's a recent work of passion for me (pretty geeky, huh?)

Look for major perfomance and feature improvements in the near future. there are over 7,000,000 individual records, which makes any tiny tweak cost hours of reindexing.

If you find any other interesting entries, please post them for us all to see. For instance, I'm trying to find Johnny Cash and Mel Gibson in there but I'm having no luck.

I loathe him too. He's too smug and so sure of himself that it's sickening.

So far, most of what he claims is "fact" from "his sources" on FoxNews haven't come true that I've seen.

All hot air from a bloated ego with a bad combover.

I hope Mansoor has developed better taste in the last couple years for his political donations, now that he's seen the Democrats "in action"...

You're right, I remember him talking about being affiliated with Democrats too. I tend to doubt he is anymore. I remember a year or so ago Lanny Davis horribly badmouthing Mansoor on Sean Hannity's show, in so many words calling him a liar, etc. I assume from his interviews over the last year Mansoor has come to realize who his real friends are and who are serious about fighting terror.
