I think it's a rope-a-dope

I just found out today on Fox that the Bush admin had presidental papers sealed from the past 25 years - even the Clinton admin. If so .. this little speech by Rice will expose some of those sealed papers. I realize why Bush did that .. because he never wants to be accused of using his office of President to bash-Clinton.

Fred Barnes said that he expects Rice's testimony will blow the commission out of the water. And .. none of the other group disagreed with him.

He voted McCain in the primary and Gore in the general yet DID imply in the hearing he voted Republican.

We freepers understood English but not some reporters who rushed out and reported he was a registered Republican and/or reported he voted for Bush.

However, it has been a wise move that Tenet was not canned.
This has prevented a full blown RATmedia assault since Tenet cannot be attacked as a Bushbot having been appointed by Clinton. His testimony makes clear the different level of concern between the administrations.

Absolutely--the Goebbels-Riefenstahl Gang can't shriek that Republicans have blown intel--Tenet is a tank trap blocking that blitzkrieg.

Under Clinton, Clarke held a Cabinet-level post as "counterterrorism czar." His powerful position gave him wide-ranging authority to task the intelligence community to focus on specific terrorist threats, and to be the lead point man in developing counterterrorism policy for the president, advising the president and ensuring execution of the policy his way.

It is scary that this goofball held a cabinet level position in the Clinton administration. Then again, with all of the attacks on US interests during the 90's where nothing was done, maybe it is now understandable......

IMHO, Clinton needs to testify, under oath, and in a public forum about what he did and/or did not do to prevent terrorist attacks, such as 9/11, on the US. His previous actions are no longer 'just about sex', they are now about 3000+ lives............

Of course the other reason he was retained is because after the Jeffords treachery a new DCI would have been held in limbo by the RATS for months. Even as late as July 2001 Bush's candidates for the three highest anti-terrorism posts were blocked by RAT Senator Levin. This information would be revealed to the American people if we had an unbiased media rather than the actual RATmedia.

I knew that all of the feet dragging had to be causing problems for GW...Man, did I underestimate the seriousness of it all.
Just proves how much GW and his administration has had to overcome pure partisanship of the socialists on the other side of the aisle, they have politicized and obstructed EVERY step of the way.
No "black-helicopters" or anything but....how many other ways are they undermining the economy, the defense, the judiciary appointments, etc...
We know because of the "memos" what the Dims have been up to as far as politicizing the Intelligence Committee and the appointing of Fed.Judges....what else are they up to through the unions???
We need to take the House and Senate by sweeping numbers along with GW for another four to get this country back on the RIGHT path!!!
