[history]
AFTER YEARS of contemptuously dismissing talk radio as a vast, embarrassing wasteland of doltish, bigoted, old, angry, overweight, religious white men named Chuck, liberals suddenly want a piece of the action. Coming soon to a radio near you, the Liberal Talk Network.

Good article!
I'm actually noticing the Boston Globe putting out an occassional speck of pro-conservative (well, okay, mostly anti-Kerry) reporting. It ain't a lot, but it's there. I'm wondering if their winning the MRC award last year has shamed them into at least pretending a little harder this year.

It's more fun when you find a zinger in a LIBERAL rag.

What's the name of the radio network again?
I'm going to search and see if we have a station in our area.
I've got a very strong stomach. Hey I listen to NPR for an hour each morning, LOL!

And along with this the obvious commentary: What do the rats care about profit for when they have a means to bypass CFR? This is their ticket, a 24/7 propaganda station. And people WILL HEAR IT. Perhaps not directly, but through other liberal outlets who will carry forward their message as if it were gospel. Then don't forget the conservative talks shows who will berate the liberal talk points, yet still provide them with further air time.
This isn't about money and profits. It's about defeating GW.

It's called Air America. Sounds like it's only aired in Chicago, NY, and large California markets. Their website isn't exactly clear on which exact cities. They offer live streaming on the web.
Here's their website;

Looked at their site again,
Air America Radio will debut its programming on radio stations WLIB (AM 1190am) in New York, WNTD (AM 950) in Chicago and KBLA (AM 1580) in Los Angeles and a station in San Francisco to be named before launch.
They don't even know what stations they're on.
It looks like they're only on from 6 AM to 11 PM with the weekend as mostly reruns. This is all I care to know about it.

Hey I listen to NPR for an hour each morning, LOL! You and me both. (Pity. It would be excellent radio if weren't so darned...NPR).
Air America claims they'll be streaming the shows, as well. I plan to soak up a bit of their bandwidth myself - if they actually manage it. I'm not hopeful. Their website (see link above) hasn't been updated in weeks.

Yep-liberal talk radio demographics is indeed the blue areas on the election map-urban areas-where the people the democrats have worked sooooooooo hard ( for fourty years as they controlled the house of representative prior to Newt's legendary drive to change this) to
keep dumbed down and dependent upon the government reside. Oh don't you wish you had passed the voucher idea years ago! (Oooops..I forgot, that would mean the white trash and blacks would have begun polluting your precious private schools! Not to mention....they might have a chance at actually learning to think independently and therefore not absorb your horrific plantation propaganda, your lies and bribes, so readily!)
Nice going, liberal elites. Bite on this tidbit! he he

NPR is the only station I receive on the way to work. That's why I eat breakfast
after arriving at work.

Liberals' real problem is they can't intellectually defend their views to callers. Rush Limbaugh gets lots of liberal callers every day and he beats the pants of them cause he can defend his conservative views on the merits. There are not too many liberals that can defend their beliefs without resorting to name calling and changing the subject when the heat gets too much to stand. We'll see if liberal talk radio can actually make it in the free marketplace of ideas. I don't think they can handle the kind of opposition Rush gets with aplomb.

Your success depends on us embracing the utterly fantastic notion that we are what's wrong with America; that our national, cultural, and personal woes stem from taxes too low, affirmative action too meek, defense too strong, and illegal aliens too few. People who believe such twaddle are for the most part home watching Jerry Springer reruns.Or teaching at the universities.
