With a little Mel Brooks workover on the script, such a flick could be the funniest comedy since "Blazing Saddles". Rich material that's fresh. Instead I'm sure it will be all PC and not a comedy. A shame.

I've read about this movie a couple of times here on FR and I always ask myself why a straight man would want to play a gay character? Between men getting facials and pedicures I'm beginning to wonder what's hapenning to the men in this country.

The film industry has no ideas. They have been running on empty for years now. This is what happens in that kind of emptiness - they need to do something new with a western and this is it. No agenda necessary - but they are clearly running on empty.
