Yes, some Democrats are sane. Some Republicans are liberals (i.e.: Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island). I just wish this was the predominant view in both parties and that the Bush administration would stop joining the left and the Europeans in condemning Israel every time we act in self defense.

Since the U.S. just vetoed the UN's attempt to condemn Israel for killing Yassin, one can only conclude that your wish has been granted.
