Herb Block Foundation Supports VPC
3/19/2004
The Washington, D.C., based Violence Policy Center recently received $25,000 from the Herb Block Foundation, established by the late Washington Post political cartoonist.
The grant was earmarked for educational efforts to strengthen the federal assault-weapons ban. The award was made under the foundation's civil-liberties program area.

You are surprised that the leftist Herblock left his money to leftist organizations?

I'm just suprised that it was in a 'civil liberties' section.
"liberty grabber" would be more accurate.

Did you know Herblock got three Pulitzers, and shared in a fourth? Not that these awards are biased in favor of liberals or anything.
