Methinks Karen Hughes has been brought back on the scene because Mr. Rove is falling out of favor. Although this comment might not seem relevant to the story posted here, I believe it is, because Karl is the one who advised President Bush to announce his 'non-amnesty-amnesty' plan at the time that he did, whicb was a huge backfire. Now, to have the people he's pandering to invade his yard is, to me, somehow gratifying. Not that it solves the problem.

Unfortunately, on the Bill O'Reilly show last night, Karen Hughes sounded like a cheerleader for the new Bush Amnesty scheme. I was hoping she'd bring some sanity to the situation, but sounds like she's fully onboard too. Sad!

Would somebody please pass this on to the full immigration list?

I just today posted the second in my series of pieces on Karl Rove at my web site (Karl Rove--Revisited!). In my opinion there is no task more important to long term Republican interests, as well as American interests, than to send Rove packing.

Frankly, I almost suspect that he somehow staged this incident. He is just dysfunctional enough to think that that might make his advice more palatable.

I guess you didn't see Karen on the factor then. She seemed very supportive of the Bush plan saying we have employers willing to hire employees and we have to accommodate that.
