Driving forward while looking in the rear view mirror is very dangerous indeed. The important things in the battle are still in front of us. Re-hashing the mistakes of the past might make you feel better about trashing political opponents. But, we as Americans need to pull together - drop the blame game and finger pointing. We can't change what has gone before (learn from it yes), but we need to be spending more time looking for solutions in the future.

Foolishness, those who ignore history are bound to repeat it.
To ignore the mistakes made in the past 25 years vis a vis jihadism is just loony tunes.

"But, we as Americans need to pull together - drop the blame game and finger pointing." American will not pull together as long as the RATS keep up the "Bush knew" and "Bush is a liar" crap. Americans will STAND together, and the RATS can just go to hell.

Well, we can chew gum and tapdance at the same time. And learning from history so we don't repeat the same mistakes is always a good idea. Along those lines, it'll be interesting to see what Bush does about Fallujah, vis a vis what Clinton did in Somalia.
