Last time I asked about "gun" books at a Barnes & Noble the clerk looked at me as though I'd just shot his mother.

I subscribe to that magazine, as well as Women's Outlook, a new magazine from the NRA.

Last time I asked about "gun" books at a Barnes & Noble the clerk looked at me as though I'd just shot his mother. I was concerned about that kind of response myself so I looked in every conceiveable place before asking if the book was in. Fortunately, the lady I talked to simply typed the book title and author's name into the computer and told me it wasn't in stock but offered to order it for me. I decided to wait a while when she said the book was $65. At amazon.com they're listing it for $45.50 new and have a number of used copies, most of them cheaper.

((((dansangel)))) Hope you got to go to the range. The closest I got was a baby shower cake that had a hunter holding a shotgun! LOL

Unfortunately, the pollen (horrendous levels here in Atlanta) got the better of .45MAN, so we elcted to stay inside yesterday. There's always another time.

Heheheh. The Will's daddy is a big hunter so one of the hostesses had a theme cake made. Daddy got to do the honors at the shower because Will is trying to come too early and Mommy is on bed rest. We had fun and Dad was a great sport. :)
Sorry there aren't any indoor ranges in Atlanta, ya'll will have to come practice with me sometime. I was going to go bike riding but our pollen levels were high here as well.

Oops - I guess I mislead you. The range is indoors, but the pollen prevented us from doing anything beyond Church and food shopping. .45MAN had had enough by then. Just going back out into it to drive to the range was more than enough for one day.
"The Will" - is that anything like "The Donald?" - LOL! Sounds like it was fun!

You didn't mislead me, I just misinterpreted. :) I completely understand though.
LOL That's a lil typo, that's what that is! I started to put "the baby" then put his name instead. I reckon I didn't proofread close enough. :)

It tickled me - as though the baby had every bit as much importance as "The Donald."
And, he does! :-)
