Wait a second...since when does the school have a RIGHT to tell a student what she can or cannot do when off school grounds. That's her parents job, not the school's. SMOKING IS LEGAL.

I'd like to agree with you but in all fairness a minor(age 17 or younger) then smoking is not legal, however I still don't think that it's the schools right to punish her.
