[history]
Bush and Kerry might share privileged backgrounds, but their world views are diametrically opposed.
What's this election about?
Even former Sen. Robert J. Dole, the Kansas Republican who has a touch of prairie Seinfeld to him, concedes that the 1996 contest between him and President Bill Clinton was an election about, well, nothing. With the perspective provided by the worst Tuesday in American history, the 2000 election, where al-Qaida and terrorism were barely mentioned, now seems to have been about nothing as well -- or nothing very important.

And one of them actually answers questions, the other responsds with hundreds of words which don't answer the question at all, and serves to obscure what he really thinks.

If Kerry wins, FR would be a most interesting place...

Sometimes I think that Fox News, Rush and others would like to see Kerry win. It would help drive revenues for them with all the angry Freepers and conservatives.

I have to admit, the entertainment value of a Kerry win would be immense....

The spinmeisters who say George Bush is an idiot even though he has a Harvard M.B.A., were quick to proclaim Al Gore a genius, although Gore just attended an ivy league college for a while and then dropped out.

This is true.
Bush didn't wait for UN approval over Saddam's WMD. We can't wait around for UN to make decisions because they can't make them. CEIP and the UN said Bush and his administration didn't have hard evidence and misused their words when he addressed the issue to congress and the American public. UN used words like..."maybe...might have...we judge...we assess" in their reports. To me, it sounds like Saddam had WMD. They are mincing words and I'm glad Bush went in to do our own inspections.

We would not have gotten UN approval anyway, because Saddam bought off the French.

There are other differences among the two that have nothing to do with "tax policy."
Bush is a family man, with moral character, who holds a true love for Democracy and the pains and pleasures that come with it.
Kerry is a twice divorced man with no moral character, who believes that 200+ years of Democracy should be changed to pander to special interests that want the Constitution changed for their benefit.
Bush has a vision of where this country needs to go to be successful.
Kerry has no vision except to be President of the United States.
Bush cares about people.
Kerry cares about the people that support him.
Bush believes in a strong nation.
Kerry believes in a corrupt UN.
Bush believes we should keep more of our hard earned money.
Kerry believes that companies and "rich people" should pay more taxes, in return companies will fire people and move their operations overseas, who in turn will need the government to support them, who will then vote Democrat so they can get more government entitlements, who then will have to tax people more money to pay for this, who will then go back to their companies and ask for more money to pay for their increased taxes, who then will move operations overseas... yada yada yada, I want to be president.
Oops I said taxes.. My bad
