There was a report yesterday [or so] from Austrailia from some former scientist claiming that the stuff was hidden in "secret bunkers" one such being under an island in the Tigris.
It struck me because last year as we entered Baghdad, there were reports of perhaps mustard gas in the Tigris.
I'm just wondering if all this is being followed up.
It sure would be great if the real "October surprise" was a few caches of WMD's.

Patience. This is in the Wall Street Journal. This kind of calm facts-oriented response to the hysterical Clarke is just what the doctor ordered. You are never going to see the big turnaround where the liberal press embraces the Mylroie view. The Pubbies are deliberately avoiding whipping up the frenzy and "he said he said" shrieking. Condi's testimony will be devastating to the Clarke BS.

Don't hold your breath for an October surprise of a few small caches of Iraqi CW here or there. The American people are smart enough to see through the fog.

This particular story surfaced about a year ago, and apparently still hasn't been settled. Something strange is going on.
