The murder of Al Khoei happened right after we took Iraq. He was a very pro-American cleric who had been living in London and worked relentlessly to help the Shiia and bring their plight to the world. He was one of the good guys. Remember the guy who was attacked and stabbed to death at the Mosque? That was him.
The new Iraqi court system appointed a judge to investigate the murder and he's been working on it a long time. When Sadars right hand man was arrested, he knew his days were limited and that's why he started the uprising when he did. It was to save his butt.

More truth and direct information than the entire alphabet network establishment has been able to 'create' regarding Fallujah. Thanks for the best from the best, our Soldiers and Airmen.

Fallujah, et. al = Syrian troops in civilian clothes inciting and working with locals to attack the Coalition and CPA. Mahdi et. al = Iranian backed Al Sadr and his milita.
The big issue is what the >100 thousand Iranians who've come over the border recently plan to do. We haven't heard much from them. I suspect they'll initiate attacks on pilgrims in the next few days, create a bloodbath of innocents and have their operatives and the media blame it on the Coalition.
Imo the activity over the last several days may have been intended to remove the Coalition's protection over the local populace, particularly the Ara'been pilgrims. If innocent civilians are targeted and slaughtered the Coaliton will get the blame -such is the Arab (and media's) mind.

I highly doubt that the insurgency's support is so tiny. Haven't we trained nearly 200,000 Iraqi security personnel? Why were they apparently overrun by
3,000 of Sadr's ragtag militia?
As small as those anti-American mobs are, I haven't seen any pro-American crowds lately - and I doubt it's completely because the media refuses to report them.
Stop denying it: the silent majority of Iraqis wants peace but is too timid to fight for it - I see no other explanation for why they can't handle their own security and are as dependent on our sacrifices today as they ever were.

We go way too far in calling the deaths of the Blackwater contractors murder.
They were combat casualties. Nothing more, nothing less.
If their bodies hadn't been treated as they were, this last week would have been business as usual.

Thanks for the clarification on who wrote the article. Please pass my prayers & wishes on to him & his unit.
Sorry that it took so long to post this back to you.
My system crashed as I was reading your post. When I checked the event log, it appears that the NAV 'TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been copied to "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\xDB15.tmp". File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been deleted.'
Not sure why this happens, but it seems to be a rare occurence - only 2 or 3 other times in the last year. It may be a faulty driver (HDD checks out ok)or failing ram (invalid page faults). I should probably check my 512mb ram stick, & if ok, add some more. I may increase the paging file 1st, just to make sure page faults aren't the problem. ( I usually keep it small & sometimes turn it off.) Oh, well, I'm sure you REALLY wanted to know all of this. (RIIIIGHT...)
Wish I could be there helping your buddy, instead of stuck behind a keyboard.

This guy obviously hasn't been to Fallujah where it's clear much of the populace hates our guts.Well, at least all of those that are being shown on TV. What we don't get to see are the citizens who DON'T agree with these radicals, and want them to get the hell out of town and leave them in peace!

I see no other explanation for why they can't handle their own security and are as dependent on our sacrifices today as they ever were. After 25 years of terror from the 'government' it might be difficult for them to do a 180 and start trusting totally. They have vestiges of fear from what they've experienced. I think we ought to be a little more patient with them.

Wish I could help you with your computer problems. Actually I do like to try a little troubleshooting, but this is beyond me. Maybe someone else can offer tech help.
Appreciate your reply. I don't know Bradly personally, but my uncle knows that I'm interested in the troops, so he passes on to me Brad's updates.

This guy obviously hasn't been to Fallujah where it's clear much of the populace hates our guts. How would you know what's going on in Fallujah?
I heard many interviews today from people in Iraq that said the same thing, that most of this violence is being perpetrated by this small percentage of Sadr followers.
In fact, the people of Fallujah who do not want to follow him really have no choice especially with a gun to their head, which the terrorists have been doing to their own Iraqi citizens as of late.
Stop listening to the seeBS bullcrap.
If its so easy to get rid of criminal thugs, then why are American cities filled with gangsters, gangsters, and more gangsters shooting each other every night?

I beleive that the middle-eastern male that is unemployed is not going to "march in protest" without being paid to do so.
That said I think these protests and indeed these uprisings have been organised and paid for by Iranian interests.
Once the allocated US monies begin to be dispersed we should start being able to compete.
