If they passed a law saying that anyone could slap you in the face, and you couldn't retaliate ... would you obey it?

Apparently it was worth a lot to the owner. Yes, a lot of cops should be executed or jailed for using deadly force, but they have limited powers as gov agents. Mr. Song has no such limitations on his God given inalienable rights. Give him a "thank you!" and let it go at that.
