First off, their anger is misplaced. That's what happens when you allow politics to rule your emotions. Their anger should be directed at Al Qaeda and Bun Laden. Not at anyone in the Bush administration.

Four women who lost their husbands were on with Chris Matthews today. They weren't satisfied either. One of the these women said that Rumsfeld and others didn't fly on 9-11, because they knew the terrorist attacks were going to take place. That's pure conspiracy theory nonsense. Then Matthews said that VPCheney should be given truth serum to find out what really happened. LOL

The 9-11 commission is a sham and its subsequent findings will reveal no evidence that PresBush and his people could have stopped 9-11 from happening. The librats are using a ridiculous strategy based on 20-20 hindsight. Pointing fingers and casting blame solves nothing and serves no good purpose whatsoever. People who are still angry about 9-11 after 2-1/2 years, should see a psychologist or maybe a psychiatrist. They need some real help.

Some 9-11 families are becoming pests - professional victims.

What is unusual is that their status is guaranteed because of the uniqueness of the incident that took their family members lives.

Indeed there is a dark side to some of the lives of some of the 9-11 victim families. Many moved on quickly and got married (one woman married a family friend about 7 months after 9-11 happened). A few NYPD firemen have consoled some of their former brothers wives so closely that they got coupled up. People have used the insurance and charity money for

The truth is, and people have to get over romanticizing things, is that while the tragedy was a disaster and we mourn all those lost, the victms and their families should get no special hero status. They were in a bad place at a bad time. The people were a normal cross-section of people. Some good, some bad, most average. Certainly no better or no worse than 3,000 other NYers in any office building around town.

On tbe morning of 911, some may have been tussling in bed with some idiot they met at the gym (for their normal tuesday morning dalliance) while a jetliner crashed into their spouse's cubicle.

In any case, we feel sympathy for the tragedy of all of their losses. However, giving these people some undue celebrity or holiness, or giving their opinion (naturally ranging from informed to uninformed, and everytihing in between) undue weight, is unwise and just wrong.

Then how about an apology to the families for WTC bombing #1. And how about an apology to the families of those who died in the twin embassy bombings and the familes of the solidiers who died on the USS Cole. And, in my opinion, an apology to the families of those who died on TWA flt. 800. These NJ widows want to hold everyone responsible but the ef'in terrorists. I'm so sick of it all. I did a quick internet search on Beverly Eckert and it turns out she's one who has refused the 9/11 settlement and is instead suing the government.

Her name pops up associated with all sorts of "Peace and Justice" type sites. IOW, she's now a professional victim in the employ of Socialists.

If there were any warnings, what would everyone have done? The same as they are doing now, nothing. We have had so many warning color changes in the last year, but that hasn't changed the way people go about the day-to-day activities. Personally, I don't feel any safer now than I did before the first hijacked plane left the gate. The only real hassle has been not being able to board a plane without being made to feel like a presumed criminal. I haven't flown since September 10, 2001 just for that reason. This argument about pre-attack warnings is nothing more than leftist ca-ca. Since I'm singing to the choir, could any of us here on FR have prevented what happened? I surely couldn't. And neither could President Bush. X42 had his chances to avoid the tragedy but he was more interested in having his knob cleaned than nation security. I hope to see a replay of Condi's testimony.
