Even if anything good comes out of this...like Conyers being removed or resigning, I am afraid that there is no chance that the district (MI-14) will ever be free from the Democrat's control. Sad, but true.

... I am afraid that there is no chance that the district (MI-14) will ever be free from the Democrat's control...I live here, and it's solidly Dem. My block had Gore signs in front of houses all up and down the street before the '00 election.
But, I gotta say that after 9-11 there were American flags in front of all the houses that were the Gore supporters, so maybe there's hope after all.
As far as Conyers, this investigation is ridiculous. Conyers is gonna win by a landslide even if he doesn't campaign at all. It seems a little ridiculous to accuse him of cheatiing to win. Yeah, he probably did it, but, even so it had no effect on the campaign's outcome.
And as much as I don't care for Conyers, I gotta give the devil his due and grudgingly give him credit for coming here to the suburbs (which were only recently added to his district) and taking up their concerns.
There's some big deal concerning some factory or something (I don't know the details, I don't live near there) and damned if Conyers isn't doing his job and fighting for his new constituents and trying to get the federal government change something (sorry I don't know the details).

I was also added to Conyers district when our former weight challanged governor change the districts around. Surprsingly he has come to Grosse Ile, where I live and has championed some causes.

"Ethics apply to members of the CBC? Who knew?" It's only correct that we should have the same number of inquiries of the CWC.<>
