BINGHAMTON -- A flaming roof on Prospect Street lit up the faces of dozens of onlookers Wednesday. They were drawn like moths to an apartment blaze that lit the city's night sky.
2000 at Howard's Florist: Fire and insurance investigators look over the rubble of Howard's Florist and Garden Center for the cause of a 2000 fire that destroyed the business. The fire was later determined to be arson.

This should to be relegated to the (B)olshevik (S)tupidity file. They equate a particular TYPE of Inner City Arson with all arson.
I suspect Insurance Investigators could come up with some accurate alternative profiles in the Arson-for-profit racket.
Older men and women of all races who seek to cash in their policies.

I find the timing of this article interesting...
4 young men arrested for arson in kentucky
There was never any mention of their racial makeup..
Now, an article claiming the vast (right wing?) majority of arsonists are white..
Seems to me, during the church burning scare of a few years back, it turned out the people burning black churches were NOT white, but black, and often parishoners or officials of those churches..
Often it was being done for the money, and being blamed on "those white devils"...
So sad..
