I dont think Cheney's health is ging to hold out- I love the guy, but if he stpeed down and Rice was names VP it wold be an extremem honor for her AND if it happened before the election Bush would win in a landslide.

DOWNSIDE: If that were to happen AFTER john effing kerry named the hildebeast as running mate it would be seen as a trick.

We did our Friday night get together... one of the couples we regularly meet with is very liberal. The wife, who has said many times that she wants Hillary to be president, was very impressed with Condi and even mentioned Karen Hughes and said she admired the fact that two of the president's closest advisors are strong women. I should have let her talk more but I was so proud of Condi that I admit I did a little ranting myself.
