The fact that these criminals are all covering their faces is pretty clear indication they neither have enough popular support or exist in large enough numbers to show themselves and be merely another face in a crowd.

Hamas does. So did the PLO. Are you arguing that Palestinians don't support them ?Not all residents of the Palestinian Authority support them.
Regardless of who or where, in fair weather, they wrap towels around their faces to avoid identification. I can think of two reasons why they don't want to be identified, the first being they don't want to be caught. Secondly without towels to keep their faces hidden, you'll probably see many of the same faces at multiple staged photo-ops.

I will be spending the rest of this evening praying for this man. Should I awake and find he has been harmed I will be praying for the total annihilation of Fallujah either by God or by the United States of America.

Back us up in public. Back us up with words. That's all we need. We can do the fighting much better without the French, without the UN, without the Iraqis. But a good word from the governing council, a public "thanks for your help" would go a LONG way right about now.

I'm more hardened than I want to be and expect him to die horribly and Fallujah to fall horribly.
I hate this and I hope they don't have more hostages to trot out.

(The Jihadists: spectacular media violence, zero military significance, huge psych significance.)

I am hoping to God that He sends His angels to surround this man and protect him from harm. Whatever Gods will is we have to expect it. However, having said that, I hope that if something happens to this man that President George W Bush, our Commander in Chief, does what needs to be done.
