The Untranslatable is Translated
Mike Curtiss; I think I can translate the "untranslatable" - (Thank you Lord Jesus Christ) | Easter | Vernon Jenkins, MJ Agee, anonymous

Posted on 04/11/2004 4:20:44 PM PDT by STD

Then I read these words, "the central word (necessary to sustain the grammar) is untranslatable", and these, "the central word - the untranslatable (aleph-tau) comprising the first and last letters of the same alphabet."

Wow! The central Hebrew word is Aleph and Tau, the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Like a bolt out of the blue, it hit me that it means that God the Creator is THE FIRST AND THE LAST. He is both YHWH of the Old Testament AND YESHUA HaMASHIACH, JESUS CHRIST, of the New Testament.

TOPICS: Culture/Society
KEYWORDS: bibletranslated
What if Gen. 1:1 could be translated "In the beginning God, the first and the last, created the heavens and the earth."

In verse 13 of the last chapter of the Bible, Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega (the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet), the beginning and the end, THE FIRST AND THE LAST." In v. 16, he said, "I am the root (YHWH) and the offspring (Yeshua/Jesus) of David."

He is the Creator. John 1:1-3 says, "IN THE BEGINNING was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.."

Heb. 1:1 says, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners SPAKE IN TIME PAST unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath IN THESE LAST DAYS SPOKEN unto us by (en,in) his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, BY WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE WORLDS." IS THE FIRST AND THE LAST THE MYSTERY THAT "HATH BEEN HID IN GOD" SINCE THE BEGINNING?

In Eph. 3:8,9, Paul said, "Unto me...is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of THE MYSTERY, which from THE BEGINNING of the world HATH BEEN HID IN GOD, WHO CREATED ALL THINGS BY JESUS CHRIST."

Col. 1:12-17 says, "Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of HIS DEAR SON: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: WHO IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD, the firstborn of every creature: For BY HIM WERE ALL THINGS CREATED, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM, and for him: And HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, AND BY HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST."

The Creator of Gen. 1:1, God (Elohim) is both YHWH and Jesus Christ, the first and the last, as the first and last Hebrew letters Aleph and Tau tell us.

In Rev. 1:8, Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega (the first and last Greek letters), the BEGINNING AND THE ENDING, saith the Lord, which is (at the Pre-Trib Rapture), and which was (at the First Advent), and which is to come (at the Second Advent), THE ALMIGHTY."

Isa. 40:28 says, "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that THE EVERLASTING GOD, THE LORD (YHWH), THE CREATOR OF THE ENDS OF THE EARTH, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding."

Isa. 44:6 says, "Thus saith the LORD (YHWH) the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD (YHWH) of hosts; I AM THE FIRST (YHWH King of Israel), AND I AM THE LAST (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer; i.e., the Lord Jesus Christ); and beside me there is no God."

Rev. 4:11 says, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for THOU HAST CREATED ALL THINGS, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." No wonder Isa. 9:6 says, "For unto us a child (inheriting his human nature from his mother) is born, unto us a son is given (inheriting his deity from his Father): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace."

Gen. 1:1 ties in with Rev. 10:6. It says, "And sware by HIM THAT LIVETH FOR EVER, WHO CREATED HEAVEN, and the things that therein are, AND THE EARTH, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein".

Phil. 2:8,9 says of Jesus Christ, "being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him A NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME."

Jesus Christ is God. He is both the FIRST and the LAST, and we were actually told this in the first and last books of the Bible. God doesn't miss a trick.

THE ALEPH-TAU SIGN There are two untranslated Aleph-Tau signs in Gen. 1:1. Both Aleph and Tau, the first and last letters in the Hebrew alphabet, mean sign. Reading under the Hebrew words in Green's Interlinear, Gen. 1:1 says, "In the beginning created God the heavens and the earth." In English, the order of the words is different from the Hebrew. Gen. 1:1 in the KJV says, "In the beginning God created the heaven(s) and the earth." The sign is used as a particle indicating the determinate object. This sign is also used as a demonstrative pronoun meaning "this, this same, or this very thing itself." In Gen. 1:1, I take it as meaning that God created this heavens and this earth. I think the Lord used the sign in Gen. 1 for more than to indicate the direct object of the verb. For instance, in Gen. 1:27 (Green's Interlinear), we find, "And created God the man in His image." Yet De. 4:32 mentions, "the day when created God man on the earth." There is no sign. Why? Maybe it is because we can figure out the message from Gen. 1. Thus De. 4:32 can do without one.

Aleph and Tau, the first and last letters in the Hebrew alphabet, both mean sign. If we put in the two untranslated signs as "the First and the Last." Gen. 1:1 would say, "In the beginning God (the First and the Last, i.e., YHWH and Yahshua) created the heavens and (the First and the Last) the earth." The repetition of the sign emphasizes that both "the heavens" and "the earth" were created by YHWH Yahshua (Yeshua, Jesus).

Among the meanings of Aleph are ox (sacrificial), the ETERNAL, FATHER, Adonai, self, source and teaching. It's attribute is AIR. Tau means CROSS, SALVATION (and "salvation" is spelled "yeshuah"), signature, covenant and seal. As if that isn't enough, the attribute of Tau is SATURN.

Therefore, in the first sentence of the Bible, YHWH planted the first clue that Yahshua, who is both the first and the last, would bring salvation by means of the cross. He also showed that the Tau cross is associated with Saturn (Heaven).

YHWH Yahshua stamped his sign, or signature, the Aleph (SIGN) Tau (CROSS) on the OT scriptures, but especially in the first book. Every time appears in conjunction with names of God, we know it can refer to him. Just in case we hadn't figured it out yet, he stated it plainly in the last book of the Bible.

In Rev.1:8 and 22:13,16, Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is (when the Rapture is at hand), and which was (at the First Advent), and which is to come (at the Second Advent), THE ALMIGHTY....I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.... I am the root (YHWH) and the offspring of David (Yahshua), and the bright and morning star." Saturn is a morning star part of every year. Yahshua created the heavens and the earth. As the ETERNAL (Aleph), he created man upon the earth. Then, he became man's SAVIOUR (Tau) by means of the CROSS (Tau, t).

To the Jews, the Tau represents the fullfillment of the entire revealed word of God. That "t" carries over into the Greek and even into English. It ties all this up in a neat package. Saturn was attributed to the Hebrew Tau (t), and our astronomer's sign for Saturn is a combination of the "t," cross, and the "h" for heaven. I think the symbol for Saturn was probably chosen because the Hebrew Tau represented Saturn.

Isa. 52:10 says, "The LORD (the first and the last, YHWH, YAHshua) hath made bare HIS HOLY ARM (Yahshua, i.e., Yeshua, Jesus) in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see (the first and the last, YESHUA) the salvation ("YESHUAH") of our God." Isa. 53 1 says, "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD (Yahshua) revealed?" Isa. 53:6 says, "All WE like sheep have gone astray; WE have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD (YHWH) hath laid on HIM (the first and the last, i.e., YHWH Yahshua) the iniquity of us all." Verses 9-12 say, "And he (the first and the last, YHWH Yahshua) made his (the first and the last's; i.e., Yahshua's) grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD (YHWH) to bruise him (Yahshua); he (YHWH) hath put him (Yahshua) to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he (the first and the last, YHWH Yahshua) shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD (YHWH) shall prosper in his hand. He (the first and the last, i.e., YHWH Yahshua) shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he (Yahshua) shall bear their (Israel's and ours) iniquities. Therefore will I (the first and the last, i.e., YHWH Yahshua) divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his (the first and the last's, i.e., YHWH Yahshua's) soul unto death (the Crucifixion): and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."

Isa. 41:5 says, "Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I THE LORD (YHWH), THE FIRST, AND WITH THE LAST; I AM HE."

Isa. 44:6 says, "Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I AM THE FIRST, AND I AM THE LAST; AND BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD."

Isa. 48:12 says, "Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I AM HE; I AM THE FIRST, I ALSO AM THE LAST."

Isa. 54:5 says, "For thy Maker is thine husband (i.e., the Bridegroom); the LORD (YHWH) of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer (Yahshua) the Holy One of Israel; THE GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH SHALL HE BE CALLED."

In John 8:24-28, Jesus (Yahshua) told them, "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for IF YE BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM HE, YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS." Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning (God [Elohim] the first and the last, Gen. 1:1; the Word, God [Theos] John 1:1). I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. They understood not that he spake to them of THE FATHER. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I AM HE."

Isa. 9:6 says, "For unto us a child is born (inheriting his human nature from his mother), unto us a son is given (inheriting his deity from his Father): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace."

Prov. 30:4 asks, "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name (YHWH), and what is his son's name (Yahshua), if thou canst tell?" "O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD (YHWH)" (Jer. 22:29).

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT THE SON SHALL NOT SEE LIFE; BUT THE WRATH OF GOD ABIDETH ON HIM" (John 3:36).

I think you know how much I wanted to find out if the Aleph-Tau (or Alef-Tav) sign appears any place besides after "God" in Gen. 1:1 and after "me" in Zech. 12:10. You bet it does, in lots of places. I am just beginning to soak up what he has written, but I can tell you that this Alef-Tav sign comes after the word God eight times in Genesis 1. As you know, the first and last is Jesus Christ (YHWH Yahshua).

In Rev. 22:13, Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega (the first and last letters in the Greek alphabet), the beginning and the end, THE FIRST AND THE LAST." Isa. 44:6 says of YHWH Yahshua, "LORD (YHWH) the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD (YHWH) of hosts; I AM THE FIRST (YHWH King of Israel), AND I AM THE LAST (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, Yahshua, Jesus); AND BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD." Genesis, chapter 1 Verse 1 "God (the first and the last) created the heaven (s) and the earth." 4 "God (the first and the last) saw the light, that it was good." 7 "God (the first and the last) made the firmament (expanse of space)". 16 "God (the first and the last) made two great lights". 21 "God (the first and the last) created great whales". 25 "God (the first and the last) made the beast of the earth". 27 "God (the first and the last) created Man in his own image". 31 "God (the first and the last) saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." THE ALEPH-TAU SIGN ( A-T )

There are two untranslated Aleph-Tau signs in Gen. 1:1. Both Aleph and Tau, the first and last letters in the Hebrew alphabet, mean sign. Reading under the Hebrew words in Green's Interlinear, Gen. 1:1 says, "In the beginning created God A-T;the heavens and;the earth." In English, the order of the words is different from the Hebrew. Gen. 1:1 in the KJV says, "In the beginning God created the heaven(s) and the earth." The A-T;sign is used as a particle indicating the determinate object. This sign is also used as a demonstrative pronoun meaning "this, this same, or this very thing itself." In Gen. 1:1, I take it as meaning that God created this heavens and this earth. I think the Lord used the A-T;sign in Gen. 1 for more than two indicate the direct object of the verb. For instance, in Gen. 1:27 (Green's Interlinear), we find, "And created God A-T;the man in His image." Yet De. 4:32 mentions, "the day when created God man on the earth." There is no A-T;sign. Why?
