Hey,
What ever happened to the liberal radio network? It just vanished from media coverage in a little over a week.

I don't listen to them very often, but the few times I've paid any attention, they are going off on something because they didn't read all the details. After a couple of hours of ranting, they do a Lilly Patella, "Oh, never mind", and change topics.
Drives me crazy.

God bless you Texans. Another great outreach is Morning in America that is also on your 660 station. I listen to in now that I get up early to do cardio, talk about a breath of fresh air. Even early in the AM I find mindless sexual inuendos of the Stern wannabes across the FM dial to be so repetitive that they hurt my brain.... Bill on the otherhand is like conservative NPR, intellectually challenging yet morally based. I have found a home on KRLA 870 in the AM. (Aren't I such a shill? They owe me a paycheck for all this evangalizing!)

This station stole Michael Savage away from KLIF-570, but 570 gets the last laugh:
They replaced Michael with Tony Snow!

Well, BAP used to tape delay Rush by TWO hours, so what we ahve now is some improvement. Plus, I can now listen tohis opening at lunch.
Agreed that Mark Davis is a little hard to take; didja notice they dropped his Sunday afternnon "national" show?
Ratings couldn't have been there.
OTOH, Davis has been a strong supporter of the Denton County GOP, usually MC's the President's Day dinner.

I caught Tony Snow the other nght. I didn't even know he had a radio show in the metroplex. Two more frequencies in memory!!

Thanks for the ping. I put 660 and 990 in memory. You bet !
I had 990 on from the article that davidtalker posted a short while back.
I put 660 AM on after this article ...

The more the merrier.
My Kenwood TS-940SAT has more than enough memory to handle a few more good stations. It covers from .550 Mhz up to 30 Mhz.

Chevis and Joe are doing "empowerment" talk. Conservative Black guys who fight the good fight. You can't believe the nonsense these guys have had to put up with. They are worth listening to.
To: davidtalker
Ya know, the Chevis and Joe show is really worth starting a new announcement thread in the TX topic(plus another chance to plug 990, as this thread is slipping beneath the view.) If you do, be sure and ping freeper mhking, he has a black conservative ping list, and there are several in DFW who would be good at spreading the word (and a few of these might be good interview/role model material.)
BTW, any consideration of maybe switching the timeslots of their show and Michael Reagan's, at least for the summer? The signal just doesn't make it to SE Ft. Worth after dark, nor really Arlington(not sure about S. Dallas.) I realize that M. Reagan probably draws a wider audience, but with all the competition in the evening, perhaps the niche marketing might be a winner. Just from hearing them talk it sounds like there is a real void in the black community, but I would be shocked if their straight talk doesn't have an impact. From what I've been able to hear of them, they are a great addition to 990 am's lineup.
And thanks for having on the middle east expert yesterday in the 4 o'clock hour, his take on what is needed and the likely outcomes were interesting, if a bit worrisome. Keep up the good work.

Mark is a nice guy who is fighting on the good side, but I just find his style extremely difficult to listen to. Yes! He's like fingernails on chalkboard.

Thanks for posting this! I now listen to Bill Bennett's show in the mornings and really enjoy it! He actually let's callers finish a thought, and there aren't several people talking (screaming?) at each other at the same time! It's really a refreshing change, and I didn't know about the station until you posted this!
