Just a heads up for North Texas freepers. The David Gold Show, a staple of the DFW airwaves for 12 years is back. The station is new. It's locally owned.The David Gold Show returns to the 3-6 PM Central timeslot on 990 AM. The station is called "990 Mainstreet." It will feature Kevin McCarthy from Nine till Noon. Michael Reagan from 6-9 PM.http://990mainstreet.com/
I will continue to do my Saturday and Sunday show for the Bay Area on KSFO 560 AM from 1-4 PM Pacific.

Well, David, I don't live in the Dallas area any more, but I've always wanted to thank you for really getting me started on talk radio. I used to listen to you on the long commute from my office up by Prestonwood Mall down to Alvarado.
That was back when they called you "the Opressor". Glad to hear you are back on where you belong.

Welcome back. Looking forward to am 990, since we could use more competition in the local talk radio market. Its been good, but there are (or now 'were') some notable gaps and uneven quality. Good to hear Kevin will be on in the mornings, will give me an alternative to Glenn Beck. And 3pm was just crying out for a good live show. Can't wait to tune you in tomorrow!
