Setting the Stage for 9/11

So Clinton couldn't bomb Islamic terrorists but he could bomb Christian Serbs?

Tim Russert devoted an hour to interviewing former White House counterterrorism official Richard Clarke.  But some controversial claims that go to the heart of Clinton's so-called "war on terrorism" were unchallenged.  One was Clarke's claim that Clinton didn't bomb al Qaeda camps in Afghanistan because "there were lots of other things going on in the world…"  Clarke claimed that Clinton "had the Middle East peace process close to an agreement.  He was bombing in Serbia.  He was bombing in Iraq.  In retrospect, with 20/20 hindsight, people now understand that he should have bombed the camps [in Afghanistan].  I said so at the time."

Yes. I saw what I saw.

You didn't see anything but a dittoed handout at your Serbian Orthodox church bingo game.

Gee "Ronly", if you can point to ONE SINGLE Serb terrorist attack against the West, in the West, as a result of Klintoon's illegal and immoral and criminal war in 1999, then you may contradict me. (And that mentally disturbed SWEDE of Serb ancestry who murdered Anna Lindh does NOT count.)

Oh, what's that? You CAN'T?

Go back to your nightmares.

Before you go on CHANGING THE SUBJECT AGAIN, 'Ronly', let me be CLEAR -and perhaps your BRAIN might understand ME THIS TIME (you are as bad to have a discussion with as my "Kool-Aid drinking" Bush-hating cousin-in-law whom I have been trying to get to see reality for 6 years now.)

WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT THE ATROCITIES OF THE LATE YUGOSLAV CIVIL WAR.

We ARE talking about the FACT that Klintoon picked on a state that he KNEW would not retaliate as the Islamofascist terrorists have done. A STATE ENGAGED IN A NASTY GUERRILLA WAR AGAINST AL QUAEDA TRAINED ALBANIANS. A STATE THAT DID NOT ATTACK OR THREATEN US, OR NATO, OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY. THEREFORE, RONLY, OUR WAR IN 1999 WAS ILLEGAL UNDER:

1. THE GENEVA CONVENTIONS;
2. THE UN CHARTER;
3. THE NATO CHARTER.

OH, I KNOW. YOU ARE NOT A LAWYER. WELL I AM!!!! SO STOP EMBARASSING YOURSELF BY TRYING TO DISCUSS THE LEGAL ASPECTS OF THIS TOPIC SINCE YOU ARE CLUELESS ABOUT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!

(BACK ON TOPIC) And, "Ronly", UNLIKE you, I actually grew up in Serbia, can testify FIRST HAND (oh how you love that technique, dontcha) of the Serbian peoples traditional love of America - OK, pre-1991, but still extant today.

AND RONLY, UNLIKE THE ISLAMOFASCIST INFILTRATORS AKA 9/11, SERBS WHO EMIGRATED TO THIS COUNTRY HAVE, FOR 100+ YEARS, BEEN LOYAL TO THEIR ADOPTED LAND, HAVE WORKED HARD, AND HAVE NOT CAUSED ANY TROUBLE. SOME HAVE EVEN WON THE CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR.

THOSE ARE THE SERBS I AM TALKING ABOUT, RONLY. THOSE!!! THE SERBS WHO COME HERE LOVE AMERICA AND WOULD DO NOTHING TO HURT HER.

OTOH, THE MUSLIMS WHO COME HERE HAVE DIVIDED LOYALTIES AT BEST, AND ARE TERRORIST MOLES AT WORST. KLINTOON WAS A COWARD WHO SET US UP FOR 9/11.

I WILL GRANT YOU THAT THE BOSNIAN, SLAVIC, MUSLIMS ARE PRETTY CIVILIZED TOO COMPARED TO THE "MOOJ" THAT CAME AND TERRORIZED THEM AS WELL AS THE LOCAL SERBS.

I GUESS YOU DID NOT SEE THE PHOTOS OF DEAD SERBIAN BABIES LINED UP ON A CONCRETE WAREHOUSE FLOOR, COURTESY OF KLINTOON'S LUFTWAFFE IN 1999.

I AM SURE THEY SMELLED JUST AS LOVELY AS THE CORPSES YOU SAW, AND ARE JUST AS MISSED BY THEIR PARENTS/FAMILY.

IS DROPPING BOMBS ON CIVILIAN TARGETS YOUR WAY OF WAR? IF SO, I REFER YOU TO THE GENEVA CONVENTIONS (YOU MIGHT HAVE HEARD SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE ABOVE).

STOP COVERING FOR KLINTOON'S CRIMES RONLY.

No. But our readership needs to be reminded that Destro, whose #1 agenda is and always has been the forcible destruction of all things Islamic, is an utterly unreliable source of anyting on any subject whatsoever. And the fact that he always brings around his usual gang of Islam-haters and Serbofascist suckups, it simply reiterates the fact that I need to do this as often as possible.

And by the way, I *am* a lawyer. Judging by your use of ALL CAPITALS ALL THE TIME I doubt that you can truly say the same. Why don't YoU ImPrEsS Me SoMe MoRe bY UsINg sTUdlYCAPs iNstEad? What you will lack in coherence you may make up for in hipness.

ee "Ronly", if you can point to ONE SINGLE Serb terrorist attack against the West,>>

How about the Serb automobile driver in the "Republika Srpska" that threw a hand grenade onto a Russian fuel tanker in Bijeljina in June 2001? (Pin was pulled but grenade failed to detonate.)

How about the landmines found in the middle of the road at random on routes known to be patrolled by SFOR forces?

How about the three American soldiers captured during the Kosovo campaign who were threatened with immediate execution by the Serbofascist regime under Milosevic?

And finally, I aver that the 7000 dead of Srebrenica was itself a terrorist attack--as well as an act of genocide--as it was intended to terrify the Bosnian Muslims into surrender. And, btw, it was the equivalent of about THREE New York towers worth of people. Or, proportionally (since they killed 1% of the male populace of Bosnia in three days) the equivalent of killing 1.5 million American men.

Correction: (since they killed 1% of the male populace of Bosnian MUSLIMS in three days)

This is a true number. Bosnian Muslims in 1991 were 44% of 4.4 million, or about 1.93 million people. Which makes 7000 men about 0.007% of the populace of Bosnia. Close enough to 1% for Bosnian Serb Government work.

So, you too are a lawyer.

That explains why you are such an *******e. It also reminds me why I dislike lawyers going back 20+ years to my days at a top 10 law school.

And why I left the practice of law a couple of years ago for a much more sane and satisfying career.

It feels GREAT not being a parasite.

But I doubt you'd understand :0)

P.S. I am an AMERICAN buddy. PERIOD. A Teddy Roosevelt-type NON-hyphenated American. And I don't know or care who "Destro" is.

I made my first post to point out the hypocrisy and cowardice of the Klintoon administration, NOT to get into another dead-end debate with you.

As you can tell by my (non-posting) on the Balkan topic, I am not a professional 'Balkanophile', and have not been since I left the US military, where it was part of my job to keep up on what was going on over there.

Have a nice day.

I can attest to it, but how could you possibly know?

The dead scream from the mass graves of Srebrenica, and so long as there are those willing to give propagandistic full Monicas to mass murderers, I'll be here to report, over and over and over again, to what I saw: GENOCIDE. SERB GENOCIDE. AGAINST HELPLESS MUSLIMS.

And why I left the practice of law a couple of years ago for a much more sane and satisfying career. >>

I will not speculate what that could possibly be, but then I don't need to.

Hmmmnn... no wonder you're a Serbophile.

Srebrenica happened because there was no law (or lawyers) there, only force. Justice was the advantage of the stronger, and the stronger were Serbs, the weaker Muslims, and the instrument, pure force without mercy. Upshot: genocide.

You may wish to live in a world without law, but I do not.

You know, it makes me wonder why I should take someone seriously who goes to a Top Ten law school and trains himself for a career in the law only to walk away from it like it was a cow pie or something.... Don't know about you, but my license cost me too damn much to abandon it just because I didn't like the people I had to deal with.

*Chuckle* My law license(s) have served me WELL....they enabled me to have a military career that I would otherwise been too old for; they also enabled me to get into a line of work where I was eventually able to (Praise the Lord!!) ease out of the legal dep't....

Why? Well, lessee.....I can now go on field trips with my kids, adjust my schedule around theirs (instead of the other way around), tool around in the California sunshine instead of being bored to death behind a desk......

...oh, I can think of a few more reasons...but you get the idea...

Toodles, 'Ronly' :0)

Oh, and P.S., nearly all of my (admittedly few) friends from law school days have either a) gone in-house after being abused for the requisite number of years at big-city mega-firms, or b)- like me - used their background to get out of the practice of law altogether, for the sake of their families and their own sanity....

....properly developed, a legal background can open a LOT of doors into equally lucrative yet not nearly as enslaving or annoying ways to make a living...

....what you did overseas was probably extremely interesting, but I am guessing you were single at the time....priorities change radically after the kids come...unless you want to risk your family and/or your sanity and health, you adjust according to your priorities...

I see some folks are still tangling with RBJ, arguably the most notorious Islamonazi still posting here on Free Republic. I see he's bounced his favorite number to waiting about back up to 7,000. It was down to 4,000 until the Muhammedans began murdering their way across Kosovo again and he needed to inflate it (once again) so he'd feel righteous crowing about it.

This guy loves to drag people down to his level (his true master demands this, I believe) but I'd caution the decent folk here to avoid falling for his trap. Let the fool rant. Post the facts and let him choke on them instead.
