Guess I'm really naive, but for the life of me, I don't understand why I have to go to Free Republic to read about this. The news should be full of it.

Don't feel badly- the TOM ( Tired Old Media ) has been pulling this nonsense for decades. I go back to Barry Goldwater's run, and it was blatant even then- there was just no way to publicize it like there is now with Talk Radio and the 'net.

You have to go to FR because it is the best news gathering option avaliable. Aren't you happy you found it?

Ah, the joy of unbiased news reporting (not!).

Slanting away, they want to tell you what to believe, but FR frequently blows them out of the water....
