WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush met Wednesday at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and praised Sharon's proposed withdrawal from Gaza and parts of the West Bank.
The Palestinians object to a provision in the plan, which would allow Israel to retain control of six blocs of Jewish settlements in the West Bank.

PROPHET OF DOOM (A BOOK)
There is but one Islam, a singular correct view of Muhammad, his religion, and his god. It is the one found in the Quran and Hadith. There is no independent record of Muhammad in history from which a variant view may be drawn. The Hadith and Quran are the sole repository of information on this man, his times, means, and mission. The Muhammad of Islam, the god of Islam, and the religion of Islam must be as these sources present them. Prophet of Doom is dedicated to exposing Islams scriptures and what Muhammad had to say about himself, his ambition, religion, and god.
Islam rises and falls on Muhammad. He is the doctrines sole prophet, its lone founder, its gods singular conduit. Yet the picture the Islamic scriptures paint is not flattering. I analyzed the five most holy Islamic books and spent two years studying Muhammad and his message. What I found was bone chilling. The depiction of the prophet by the most revered Muslim sources is horrendous. Nearly every page reveals behavior that is immoral, criminal, and violent. The five oldest and most trusted Islamic sources dont portray Muhammad as a great and godly man. They reveal that he was a thief, liar, assassin, mass murderer, terrorist, warmonger, and an unrestrained sexual pervert engaged in pedophilia, incest, and rape. He authorized deception, assassinations, torture, slavery, and genocide. He was a pirate, not a prophet. According to the Hadith and the Quran, Muhammad and his henchmen plundered their way to power and prosperity. And by putting the Quran in chronological order and correlating it with the context of Muhammads life as it was reported in the Sira, Sunnah and Hadith, we also find that Allah mirrored his prophets character. Muhammads god condoned immoral and criminal behavior. Allah boasts about being a terrorist. He claims to have deceived men, to have stolen their property, to have enslaved women and children, to having committed acts of murder, genocide, and sadistic tortures.
Islam has been at war with everyone, including itself, for 1400 years. In Prophet Of Doom youll see why Muslims celebrate their victories, no matter how many innocents perish.

Actually, polls in Israel show that the Likud membership WILL most certainly approve the Sharon plan.
Tell me: how does holding onto Gaza protect Israel? Did you read that the U.K. may come in as "peace keepers"? How will Hamas operate in that environment?
The big news here is the formal recognition by President Bush that six major settlement blocs, including Ariel, I might add, are Israeli cities, not "settlements", and that we will never have to return to the 1949 armistice line, which was never a border.
To me, as an Israeli, this is very good news.

Look, I hear what you're saying, and on a very basic level I understand and agree, but I hold out hope that some folks there see the need to move on. Maybe I'm naive, I could be. There's not a single organization I'm aware of claiming to represent a significant portion of the palestinian population that has as it's objective anything other than the destruction of Israel. Actually, I don't think there are any, but who knows, maybe twenty guys in an internet cafe in Gaza have a different public view. Could they emerge, sure. 1967 was 37 years ago, they haven't emerged yet, even with significant US pressure. In fact, the arab world hasn't been moved an inch in letting Israel exist. It's time for a unilateral solution. When the peaceful palestinians emerge, they'll still have someone to talk to.

Did you read that the U.K. may come in as "peace keepers"? I read that and assumed it came from some retired foreign service officer with nothing better to do. That's not a serious proposal is it? I can't imagine the Brits wanting that job any more than I can imagine Israel wanting them in.

And Turkey's relationship with Israel is explained how? Turkey's not an Arab nation, that connection is gone. Fundamentalists, a problem Turkey had learned to deal with, harshly. Could things change in Gaza, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, et al. Sure, a couple of generations after the take "kill the Jews, monkeys and pigs" off TV and out of their textbooks, and that doesn't appear to be happening soon.

Yea, with all the mosque being built in the UK and Europe. I suppose that all the UK military volunteers to act as peace keepers in Gaza will all be Islamist. You can bet on that.
And out of curiosity how many Islamists are in the UK and Europe military, with all the talk of mosque building going on over there?

I've truly appreciated the responses I've had from this thread. You all have captured the great challenge civilization faces, are you are all so correct.
We won't see a Palestinian org come out for peace with Israel until Arafat and his extended mafia is crushed. When and if that will happen I don't know. I suspect it will be within the next few months. I have a gut feeling that things will begin to happen very quickly, very soon.
Yehuda, as for thir willingness, with apparant joy, to blow up innocent Jews, let's see if once those encouraging them are gone if the passion will be the same. Sadly, it may be, and I'll be wrong in my hope.
As for can we find 10 Imams who denounce the atrocities...well, that's a problem to be sure. I know and work with so many folks who are followers of the muslim faith who have zero time for any of the hatred and bile. But then, they escaped, and as my boss says, anyone in those countries with half a brain gets out as fast as they can.
We worry about brain drains here. Over there, the results of the drain have sobering implications.

There's a petition at
http://removejewwatch.com/ that very seriously needs our attention.
I'm an Apple MAC-ker and don't know how to do links and all of that other computer stuff and will be thrilled if someone will do what is required.
Thank you in anticipation and blessings -- Brian
<< Remove JewWatch.com from the Google Search Engine!
To: Google.com
When performing a search for the word "Jew" on google.. the first result
is a site that has been notorious for being anti-semitic.. the site is
called jewwatch.com .... Google is the # 1 search site and the fact that
The first search result would yield an anti-semetic site is all too
common in a growing era of increased Anti Semetism... In order for
google to remove this They would need a petition of over 50,000
requests....
Sincerely,
The Undersigned

Forgot to mention -- This FRom WSJ Online:
<< In Search of Anti-Semitism
The Google search engine has been involved in a bit of a controversy of late. It seems that when you use Google to search the Web for the word Jew, the first site that came up was a vile anti-Semitic outfit called Jew Watch. (Earlier this afternoon, Jew Watch had fallen to second, after the entry for Jew in the Wikipedia online encyclopedia, but as we write, the two pages have switched places again. We're not providing a link to the offending site, because doing so would actually increase the likelihood of Jew Watch regaining the top spot.)
As the New York Times notes, "a Web site calling itself "Remove JewWatch.com from the Google search engine!" is circulating a petition asking Google to remove the site from its listings." No dice, says Google; "it trusts its automated program to rank Web sites accurately."
We hadn't written about this up until now, because although we sympathized with the RemoveJewWatch folks, we found Google's defense plausible. Until, that is, we learned this from the New York Times:
Until February 2003, a user searching for a guide to the English city of Chester would have been presented with "Chester's guide to molesting young girls" as the second entry. After officials from Chester complained, Google removed the site.
There does seem to be something amiss with Google's priorities when the complaints of Jews objecting to anti-Semitism carry less weight than those of "officials from Chester." >>

In all these years, I have never met a leader as committed as you are, Mr. President, to the struggle for freedom and the need to confront terrorism wherever it exists.
I want to express my appreciation to you for your courageous leadership in the war against global terror, and your commitment and vision to bring peace to the Middle East.
Thank you, Mr. President.
Literally brought a tear to my eye today.

Yehuda, as for thir willingness, with apparant joy, to blow up innocent Jews, let's see if once those encouraging them are gone if the passion will be the same. Sadly, it may be, and I'll be wrong in my hope. What makes you think they'll be gone, this addresses none of that. The same Iman's will be preaching, US and EU aid will supply the same textbooks and TV stations that are operating now. Neither Egypt nor the Saudis will mourn Arafat's loss of power, but they won't be changing their ways, nor will they be accepting Israel in their midst anytime soon. This is largely important as an implicit recognition of Israel's right to exist and to some extent control their destiny.

Petitions do work sometimes. I did a google search for the word "Jew" and this was the result.
An explanation of our search results.
If you recently used Google to search for the word "Jew," you may have seen results that were very disturbing. We assure you that the views expressed by the sites in your results are not in any way endorsed by Google. We'd like to explain why you're seeing these results when you conduct this search.
A site's ranking in Google's search results is automatically determined by computer algorithms using thousands of factors to calculate a page's relevance to a given query. Sometimes subtleties of language cause anomalies to appear that cannot be predicted. A search for "Jew" brings up one such unexpected result.
If you use Google to search for "Judaism," "Jewish" or "Jewish people," the results are informative and relevant. So why is a search for "Jew" different? One reason is that the word "Jew" is often used in an anti-Semitic context. Jewish organizations are more likely to use the word "Jewish" when talking about members of their faith. The word has become somewhat charged linguistically, as noted on websites devoted to Jewish topics such as these:
http://shakti.trincoll.edu/~mendele/vol01/vol01.174 http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/jonah081500.asp Someone searching for information on Jewish people would be more likely to enter terms like "Judaism," "Jewish people," or "Jews" than the single word "Jew." In fact, prior to this incident, the word "Jew" only appeared about once in every 10 million search queries. Now it's likely that the great majority of searches on Google for "Jew" are by people who have heard about this issue and want to see the results for themselves.
Our search results are generated completely objectively and are independent of the beliefs and preferences of those who work at Google. Some people concerned about this issue have created online petitions to encourage us to remove particular links or otherwise adjust search results. Because of our objective and automated ranking system, Google cannot be influenced by these petitions. The only sites we omit are those we are legally compelled to remove or those maliciously attempting to manipulate our results.
We apologize for the upsetting nature of the experience you had using Google and appreciate your taking the time to inform us about it.
Sincerely,
The Google Team
p.s. You may be interested in some additional information the Anti-Defamation League has posted about this issue at
http://www.adl.org/rumors/google_search_rumors.asp. In addition, we call your attention to both the Jewish Internet Association, an organization that addresses online anti-semitism, at
http://www.jewishinternetassociation.org/, and Google's search results on this topic.
