The destruction of cod stocks has JUST as much, if not much more, to do with the overfishing of them by the Canadiens (and up here in Maine you'd get a great deal of testimony to that fact) as the seals eating them.

Insects of various species ARE a threat to humans, especially mosquitoes. You cannot compare the two logically.
