"In his testimony before Congress last year, Mr. Kay said U.S. satellite surveillance showed substantial vehicular traffic going from Iraq to Syria just prior to the U.S.attack on March 19, 2003 attack."

I've never understood why no one has mentioned that of course, Saddam was getting the WMD's out of Iraq, but what was happening in the U.S. at the time? The DEMOCRATS in Congress were saying we should give the U.N. Inspectors more time. Get the U.N.'s blessing before beginning a military operation. Dragging our feet, while Saddam is off-loading inventory.

Then, these very same butt-wipes are the same ones who JUMPED to criticize the President about there being no WMD's, saying Bush mislead the public.

And all in the name of politics....

The administration should have been repeating this over and over again. Their communications people have not been very good at defending President Bush.

I apologize for not having read one more post before my response #96. You're completely right in pointing out that in addition to the UN and Euroweenies, that our "very own" Demodogs were egging them on, and giving SH more time.

Yes, it is politics at its worst. Remember, the democrats sit in on all the same briefs that the republicans do.

Let me illustrate an example - everyone knows Saddam secreted his stuff in the country or sent it off to some other terrorist-harboring areas of some unstable areas of concern.

During the Cold War, Eisenhower discovered through classified intelligence, sources and methods and information that could not be made public that the Soviets were overestimating their missile and defense capabilities in public, but Ike knew the real deal. Accordingly and with good fiscal discipline he reduced our nation's defense budget. Now, keeping in mind that senior democratic leadership was also aware of this, what did they do?

They immediately claimed "Ike is soft on Communism! We need to spend more to meet the Soviet threat!!" Everyone is mum on the "missing" WMD for whatever reason or more likely a number of damn good reasons, and here come the political whores to make hay out of national security issues. The radical left is completely out of control, and truth be told, real democrats probably hate them more than we do, they have to live with them.
