While I think the 9/11 Commission is a bunch of foolish crap, I think we can go overboard with the "connections" people have to this group or that. Almost NO ONE would be free of some remote connection to some group in Washington. Six degrees of separation, and all that.

I don't think Kean or Kerry are deliberately covering up---it's just the nature of what the commission walked into.

Exactly. I have 2 degrees of separation between me and people ranging from Kelsey Grammar to Peter Cetera to the King of Jordan to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. That's not to mention George W. Bush, Laura Bush, General Tommy Franks, Donald Rumsfeld, and Bill Clinton. One could create amazing scenarios with me being the single link to all sorts of conspiracies.

If Peter Cetera, Laura Bush, and the King of Jordan ever appear to be conspiring to take over the world, then I'm your missing link.
