Or they figure that what they did isn't much different than what the French and many others did and therefore the spotlight won't shine too brightly on them.

This is not going away- the petty dictator-enablers kept far too meticulous records of their corruption, and even the oh!-so-dense public understands that theft from the starving is wrong:

I think there is a deal in the works for the Russians to screw the French and Germans big time in this.

Russias dependency on the US is greater than on Europe and with all those Eastern countries now supporting the US, Russia has to make a decision.

If Putin is not implicated, he will give up everyone that stole from Iraq. This is going to be big.
